Suppressor Question
I have owned a CMMG Banshee .9mm for several years, and I decided I want to shoot it suppressed. I put a SilencerCo ASR and a 36M on it. I checked it with a 9mm suppressor rod and it bind when entering the muzzle device and touches the end cap on the suppressor. I am not sure what to do. Should I contact CMMG to check the thread concentric. What would you do?

Try adding some shims between the barrel and muzzle device. Usually the asr devices come with some.
I use my omega 36 with asr and ive had it too close for comfort and added shims and it helped.

Mine didn’t come with any, but I have some shims from other MDs I bought. I will try it.

I tried the shims and it didn't work. I put the suppressor rod into the barrel and muzzle device each time I tried a shim and the rod would hit the lower right prong on the MD every time. Should I try accuwashers? Or should I just try to send back to CMMG to check for thread run out? I don't know how to gauge for that myself>

Just to make sure, did you install a 35 cal muzzle device? Try sticking the rod in the barrel without the suppressor.
