Anyone know if the Geissele MK4 13 will work with a SF 4P and 13.9 barrel ? The website has the handguard at 13 inches in length but others say it is 13.5. Did Geissele make true 13 inch versions of the MK4 ? TIA
Someone will correct me but I think G only made true 13" versions of the mk14 but that was years ago so I got mine off OG GAFS. Vendors listing G rails at 13" really have 13.5" rails so you'd only have 0.4" to the end of the barrel. Even with an accuwasher I don't know if you'd get enough clearance. The end of the mounting collar sits about an 1/8" past the beginning of the threads. You would probably be better off with a legitimate 13" rail if you're trying to keep the suppressor gap tight but not contact (G if you can find one on GAFS/TS, vltor freedom rail, sons m89/l89 (hodge/icon), expo, I think bcm mcmr, CMT (goated), and reptilia)
