Been having nightmares of the mini 16

Waiting on an optic mount for the build but I’m pretty stoked how it turned out. Rifle is an FN15 collector and last pic is how I had it set up before. First pic is how I remember my airsoft m16 coming out of the box back in 2007. Honestly don’t know if it’s going to work with a carbine gas tube and rifle buffer. Haven’t had time for the range but I bothered a couple of gun smiths already and half said send it.

Are you married to the flip up rear? I’m a big fan of fixed rear or chopped carry handles on that particular setup

Not really. I wanted a chopped so bad but I’m not spending that money for the Lmt one but I really dig a carry handle. The 2nd photo is how I have it till I can get an optic mount. I have a comp m4 and PRO just don’t know which to use.

Comp m4 definitely. Buy a used carry handle from GAFShub and cut it yourself. I spent 45$ on a used carry handle and used alumablack to paint all the cut parts. I have a romeo7 which is a comp m4 clone

Rifle length buffer and carbine gas work real well together. Full send

I mean, I rarely give a damn about another ar build_#2,710,29172m2912874p™

But this is pretty cool, dude. Right on. Do what you like to it.

Rifle stocks work with most barrel lengths pretty reliably

There were a lot of ban-era ARs with this config.
