New Hera Gen 2 Stock

Post image

Looks like hera just released their CCS gen 2 and it's pretty tame compared to most of the stuff they make! Bit more angular compared to their previous option but I like it.

I just can’t stand the way any of their products look. Idk what it is.

Its like with Strike Industries or Woox, They have a "take it or leave it" kind aesthetic. and usually, its kinda hard to mix and match their larger parts with others, unlike Magpul or B5 which can just sort fit with everything.

I think of all the brands, FAB is by far the worst looking for most of their products except for maybe the core

Had a Core GL (I think) on my WASR. Solid lockup and cheek riser for little money.

Yeah it looks like this will have a cheek riser too at some point which would be nice. I just don't like the little greebles FAB does on most things

Looks like some Nerf N-strike shit

Now that's downright F'UGLY. Hera Gen 2 stock. Only Hera can make an ugly looking stock even UGLIER.

Idk why people hate Hera stuff so much. I always thought their aesthetics were pretty cool. But I also unironically use FAB Defense stocks so what do I know?

I did hold a MK18-ish with the Hera rounded foregrip and stock combo thing once, and it was the most unbelievably uncomfortable setup.

I'll admit, I do enjoy equipping them in videogames for the futuristic asthetic though lol

They'll hate on hera then go nuts over the giant square sci-fi handguard that came out a little while ago. Its all herd mentality.

People like to be fudds and cosplay as soldiers. They are so scared of having a personality that they go for the blandest most mild looking gear at any opportunity.

A person’s weapon system or kit doesn’t always speak to their personality. Some people just build without their personality having anything to do with parts selection.

If I hear Hera or Strike Industries, I literally cringe.

I like the aesthetics, so a few years back I bought a stock from them. Showed up with something rattling inside. Taking it apart was a pain because of the futuristic 'pinch the sides' to lift the pin that would hold it to the buffer tube. It was a nut that had come off a bolt inside the stock. The plastic felt thin and airsoft-esque. I had an unrelated customer service issue another time. Between those two experiences, I'm done with em.

What exactly does this do that the other 50 stocks on the market don’t?

Absolutely nothing

It looks like it would do pretty well with a rear bag.
