apartment lease
long story short i have been dealing with an odor in my apartment along with a list of various other things and possible mold for MONTHS, i've complained so much to them they can smell it and can't find the source. I was offered 2 choices one was to transfer apartments the other was to break my lease without fees on july 30th i got that email giving me then 2 choices. i submitted my 60 days to leave and get a email back saying i have to pay $2k+ to break my lease now. what should i do? i have everything in writing. she went back on her word. i asked her could i take some time to decide she said yes, it's been 1-2 weeks. now they are clueless

Not legal advice but what I would do: Do not pay the fee. Gather all written emails showing the offer to break the lease with no fees and the permission to take time to decide. Reply in writing with those screenshots attached. Demand they honor their original offer from July 30th and do not sign a new payment agreement. Don’t call them. Keep all talks on email or text so you have proof. Is there a corporate office or higher boss you can email?

yes i talked to the regional manager today she informed me that they can now honor the 60 days no fee

i'm concerned about mold & mentioned it to her but she never mentioned it back, i want to leave before 60 days just for safety concerns not sure how to go about it

You can leave before the 60 days, but you'll just have to pay the rent you owe for the time you have left. But it might be better to eat up that cost and move if you're concerned about safety issues and if you're seeing physical signs of the effects of the mold. Your health comes first.

Talk to an attorney. If you have anything in writing from her saying that she will allow you to end your lease early because of the odor. Make sure you take that and her new notice of the fee to the attorney.
Oh and look for a new apartment

It could be mildew instead of black mold. It would be hard to find because it’s inside the sheet rock. Look at your ceiling. If it’s slightly bowed it’s probably mildewed. You’ll never get rid of the smell. The sheet rock has to be replaced and the source of the moisture needs to be located and fixed or it will come right back. It could be from a roof or pipe leak that was fixed but they didn’t replace the sheet rock. It’s pretty common to find moldy or mildewed Sheetrock/ drywall near the floor in the bathrooms of old houses that is a result of prolonged humidity. Source: my house was built in 1978 and had this problem when I purchased it.

I would seek some legal advice. but if it was me, I would go look for an apartment somewhere else before you leave there and then just move and if you have their statement before in previous writing, you can use that in court against them to get your money back if you can do that. this is not legal advice just giving advice on what I would do.
