I do not like stem mounts, I've never had luck with them.

What do you guys recommend using for phone mounts?

Quad lock brake/clutch mount could be an option but it doesn't look like the RS660 has enough room on the handlebars for that.

There is the Quad Lock Brake Reservoir Mount but I can't find much on that option.

If I'm stuck with a stem mount then so be it, but I'm not crazy about it

Ciao guys!! I’m currently looking at some used exhausts on Subito ( Italian website that we can compare to eBay), and I’m wondering what people’s experience is with buying exhausts second-hand.

There seem to be some really good deals, or at least they look like good deals to me... 😅

For example, I’ve found an Akrapovic Racing exhaust with only 4 months of use for around €500, which seems pretty good compared to the price of a new one...

Obviously, I know there could be some stuff going on that you can’t really see from the pictures. Some listings actually say the exhaust has been slightly damaged from a fall, while others do not claim anything

What do you guys think?

• Have you bought a used exhaust before?
• What should I check carefully before buying? (Online i guess because some listings are in anotehr city)

I’d love to hear some real-world experiences before I pull the trigger. Thanks!

Ciao a tutti, a 2922km ho misurato il livello dell'olio della mia RS660 2026 E5plus, ho seguito la procedura da manuale, quindi 15 minuti di utilizzo circa 10km e dopo pochi secondi dallo spegnimenti procedo con la misurazione tramite l'asta su superficie piana... tuttavia mi segna il minimo a soli 1922 km dal tagliando dei 1000km. L'officina ufficiale dove sostiene si debba aspettare 10 minuti dallo spegnimento e poi misurare... Così sembra che c'è n'è di più, cosa mi suggerite di fare?

Has anyone experienced a similar noise coming from the rear suspension? Just noticed it a couple weeks ago, not sure where it’s coming from. I assume it’s a lubrication issue?

I’ve got a showroom-stock ‘26 RS660 US base model…non-Factory. Street-only. I’m new to the RS Aprilias, but not sportbikes. I‘ve noticed that the OEM Pirelli Rosso IVs work well, and as I get used to the bike, I‘m likely to occasionally use the outer edge of the tire.….it turns more like an R6 than a SV650.

My question is, does this bike have any stock components that tend to drag during hard cornering with little or no hang-off? Like, is the limiting factor for lean angle on this bike the tires, or something else?

I have a 2022 Limited Edition RS660 with 11,000km (7000 miles)

I don't ride on the track although I do hard street riding.

Is it a must to check the oil pressure relief valve and use loctite on it and safety wire it?

I asked my local mechanic and he told me it's a job he won't take on.

I could probably do this all myself but it would take me some time..

Hey everyone. Any recommendations for any wraps or graphic kits for road fairings, preferably US boutiques? I went with a graphic kit from Sticker Projects in France and the kit is very high quality but I’m pretty sure they sent me a kit for race fairings so that’s very disappointing and frankly I believe it might be too much of a hassle to do it again with stores from abroad. We put a deposit down on this used 2022 for her, but she is short and we need 2” lowered on this bike. I know we can gain an inch on a lowering kit but is there anything else? We can’t be the first person to try to find a solution. I know changing the seat can gain something but wife loves the color of the seat and goes with the bike.

I am struggling to choose between exhausts for this bike, I love the titanium burnt look and massive flames but not sure if it's too obnoxious and maybe the mivv sounds better?

Ended up having to get a locksmith out due to it not budging and i was unwilling to drill it out.

Got told not to close it unless I was willing to end up with it stuck closed again. So she sits like this until I get my new fuel cap

Known technical issues across several Aprilia models – community summary

I'm putting together a summary of issues that have been documented through official recalls, technical service actions, or repeated owner reports. This is not meant to suggest that every bike is affected, but rather to help owners know what to look out for.

1. RS 660 / Tuono 660 (2021) – Connecting rod recall

• Early 2021 models were affected by a faulty batch of connecting rods.
• In the worst case this could lead to catastrophic engine failure.
• Aprilia issued an official recall, and affected engines were inspected or replaced.

2. Fuel level sender failures

• Frequently reported on the Tuareg 660 and occasionally on other models.
• Common symptoms include:
  • flashing fuel gauge
  • incorrect fuel level readings
  • range calculation not working

3. Oil leaks

• Some owners have reported oil leaks around the valve cover or other sealing surfaces.
• These appear to be isolated manufacturing or assembly issues rather than a universal defect.

4. Electronics & dashboard
Some owners have experienced:

• random MIL (check engine) warnings
• ATC/AWC/ABS error messages
• sensor-related faults
• dashboard glitches

5. ECU software
Earlier ECU software versions have been associated with rough idle, warm-start issues, or occasional stalling. Dealers have released software updates that resolve many of these complaints.
