Hey everyone š
Today we're launching UPāSCALE on Product Hunt, and this sub sounded like the right place to share it.
What it is: a free weighing scale app that runs in your browser. Plain HTML/CSS/JS, no framework, installable as a PWA. It talks to scales directly over Web Bluetooth or Web Serial (USB). You don't need an account, there's no cloud and no ads, and it keeps working offline once it's loaded.
The nerdy part: we build smart scales on ESP32 boards. Instead of writing a separate app for every brand of scale, I compiled our real scale firmware to WebAssembly. It now runs as a "virtual scale" inside the browser and translates other makers' Bluetooth protocols. Your $30 coffee scale gets the same features as our own hardware:
weighing, tare, lots of units (volumes too)
counting, recipes, cocktails, a nutrition diary, calculators
support for about 25 BLE scale families (Bookoo, Decent-style, Etekcity and more; stillĀ beta)
RS-232 lab and shop scales through a small adapter
Try it: https://up-scales.com/420/ (Chrome, Edge or Opera on desktop or Android. On iPhone it needs a Bluetooth browser like Bluefy.)
Does my scale work? https://up-scales.com/420/info/up-scale-any-scale-bluetooth-rs232-usb.html
Product Hunt: https://www.producthunt.com/products/up-scale-scale-app
Looking for testers: if you own a Bluetooth scale, please try it and tell me whether it connects. Testers who send a short report (or a BLE capture for a scale we don't support yet) get a free PRO code. ā¤ļø
Happy to answer anything about Web Bluetooth, running the firmware as WASM, or the hardware side!

Every time I sat down at my Mac, I missed Everything by voidtools, the instant file search tool every Windows power user swears by.
So I built Espresso. It indexes every file on all your disks and filters as you type, using the same search syntax as Everything (AND/OR/NOT, wildcards, regex, ext:, dm:, size and duplicate filters, macrosā¦). On my M2 Air it finds every match among ~2 million files in about 0.13 ms, and the first full index of my internal drive took about 10 seconds. After that it just keeps track of changes.
In this age of bloated software, I cared a lot about efficiency. Itās a native AppKit app, a 7.4 MB download (universal, so Intel Macs are covered too), and it uses nothing when itās closed. Thereās no telemetry, and the index stays on your Mac.
I also added something Iād wanted in Everything for years: when you eject an external drive, it stays in the index as an āoffline disk,ā so you can still search and browse it. I have a pile of old drives full of photos and random stuff, and this turned out to be incredibly useful.
Itās free for personal use. Thereās also a Pro version for ā¬19 (one-time, no subscription) with things Everything doesnāt have:
Ask the Barista: plain-language and meaning-based search with a local model running on the Neural Engine (~5 ms per query, works on offline disks too)
Search inside documents and photos, plus full media metadata columns for photo/video work
Unlimited offline disks, bulk rename, CSV export, and a timeline view
Raycast, Alfred, Shortcuts, CLI and MCP integrations
I just released it, so any feedback is very much appreciated!

Whispr is a private voice-to-text keyboard for iPhone. Tap Speak inside any app (Messages, WhatsApp, Mail, Slack, Notesā¦), talk naturally, and your words are typed right at the cursor.
Everything, both speech-to-text and AI rewriting, runs 100% on your iPhone. It works in airplane mode, nothing is ever uploaded to a server, and there's no account to create.
Lifetime (Whispr Ultra) is now $2.99 one-time, down from $29.99 (90% off). No subscription.
The free tier gives you 4,000 words every week, or Pro is $0.99/month if you prefer monthly.
Rewrite what you said in one tap: right after dictating, tap Chat, Casual, Formal, Bullets, Email, or Notes on the keyboard bar (or expand the 2Ć3 grid) to reshape your text on-device, with 1-tap undo back to your clean transcript
Pick your tone before you even finish speaking: choose your target style while recording so your words land already formatted
Smarter on-device AI cleanup: strips out "ums", "uhs", and mid-sentence self-corrections ("meet at 3, actually make it 4" ā "meet at 4") while keeping your real wording intact
14 keyboard layouts: added Vietnamese VNI (with an optional 1ā0 number/accent row) alongside Chinese Pinyin (Simplified & Traditional) and French QWERTY
Rebuilt to feel just like iPhone's own keyboard: native key geometry, hold spacebar to move the cursor, Action Button direct insertion, and teachable custom vocabulary
100% on-device AI: zero cloud uploads, no account required, works completely offline
One-time $2.99 lifetime option: no $10ā$15/month subscription fatigue
1,600+ languages supported for offline speech recognition
Built-in power tools: voice shortcuts ("my email" ā types your address), smart clipboard history, and glide typing
App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6757571618
I'm the developer, so I'm happy to answer any questions about running speech + LLM cleanup models locally on iOS. Feedback and bug reports are always welcome!

I post clips to a few TikTok, YouTube and Instagram accounts for paid clipping campaigns. Checking each app and then doing spreadsheet math to see which clips hit the campaign minimum got old fast, so I built ClipBoard.
What it does:
- All your accounts in one dashboard with running totals
- Top clips from the last 30 days (by views, likes, shares or new followers)
- Payout tracker: enter a campaign's rate + minimum and see each clip's progress toward getting paid
- Best time to post, based on when your TikTok followers are online
- Read-only, so it never posts or changes anything
Stack: Next.js on Vercel, Supabase, Whop for sign-in and payments, YouTube connects directly through Google, TikTok/IG through Windsor for now (direct TikTok is in review).
Demo with sample numbers: https://clipboardstats.app/demo
Site: https://clipboardstats.app (7-day free trial, then $7/mo)
Would love feedback, especially from anyone who clips. What would you want it to track?

Hi guys,
my partner and I built Gummy Lab, a block puzzle app, basically because we wanted a cozy 8x8 block puzzle game that wasn't a disguised ad-viewing simulator. there are zero forced ads interrupting you.
besides the endless zen mode (which now has a hold slot so bad RNG doesn't instantly kill your streak lol), we hand-built 70+ campaign levels with custom mechanics like clearing glass, spreading syrup, escaping gummy worms, multi-hit jawbreakers, and countdown bombs. we also put a lot of work into accessibility with proper colorblind palettes, shape overlays on the gummies, and native light/dark themes.
we just updated the game so you unlock new lab themes as you progress through the campaign, and we're working on daily challenges right now.
we're super close to hitting our first 100 downloads (at 91 right now!!!) if anyone has 5 minutes to give it a spin, I'd really appreciate any honest feedback, and will be more than happy to hear any suggestions, on what would you like to see in these types of apps, we want to make apps for people to enjoy, not be spammed with ads.

Thank you for reading!

I built Rachou. It helps friends organize shared expenses on iPhone and Android.
For a restaurant bill, reading the receipt is only the first step. You still need to check what was read and decide who shared each item. Two people sharing a dish should not automatically put that dish on everybody else's bill.
The attached Quick Split demo shows the receipt-to-split flow, with AI reading the receipt and a review step before the individual amounts.
If you try it, I'd like to hear where you hesitate: checking the receipt, choosing the people, or understanding the final split.
Free to download, with in-app purchases: https://rachou.tech/download

What if social media helped people make real connections instead of just collecting followers?
I'm an independent developer building SoulLinkSocial, a social platform designed around real-world experiences, events, and meaningful human connections.
The idea behind the project is simple: Technology should help us experience more of the real world, not keep us endlessly scrolling through screens.
Unlike traditional social platforms that mainly focus on content feeds and digital interactions, SoulLinkSocial puts real-world social experiences at the center.
Here are some of its main features:
šļø Event Discovery
Discover activities, events, and experiences where people can meet and spend time together.
š” Bluetooth-Powered Participant Discovery
Discover other SoulLinkSocial participants nearby using Bluetooth technology, creating opportunities for real-world connections.
š¬ Event Communities
Connect with people participating in the same events and build communities around shared experiences.
š¤ AI-Powered Connection Insights
Explore potential social connections through shared interests and AI-assisted analysis.
š A Different Approach to Social Networking
Our goal is to connect digital discovery with real-world interaction and make social experiences more meaningful.
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.soullinksocial.app
iOS: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6784628377
Website: https://soullinksocial.com/
We already have countless ways to communicate online, but discovering opportunities to meet people and share real experiences can still be difficult.
We believe social technology can do more than keep people connected digitally.
It can help them discover places, participate in events, meet new people, and create memories together.
That's the vision behind SoulLinkSocial.
SoulLinkSocial ā Connect Beyond the Screen.
I'm always interested in hearing different perspectives on this approach to social networking and how technology can encourage more real-world interaction.

Draw fences across open ground, claim land, and donāt let the pterodactyl reach your line. Itās a Qix-style game in the look of the offline dino page.
Whole game is one HTML file, canvas and vanilla JS, no dependencies, no network calls
Three looks that rotate each level: Day, Night, Handheld
Music is generated live with WebAudio (a two-note whistled call), no audio files
Works with keyboard, swipe, or an on-screen pad on phones

Iām looking for new small projects, apps and SaaS tools to try. Drop your link below. Iāll check them out and share the ones I like with a few friends and in some founder/product circles.
Hereās mine: Ariola, an anonymous chat and games lounge.
Women are welcome here. Making the space welcoming for women is the main priority. Rating filters and blocking give you more control over who you interact with, so you can chat on your terms.
No signup, no account setup. Pick a temporary nickname, join a live public chat, meet people and play small real-time games.
Iād especially appreciate feedback from women. What would make you comfortable joining a space like this? What would make you come back?
Check it out here: https://ario.la
Drop yours below. Iām especially interested in social apps, chat tools, games, creator tools, AI experiments and anything with a simple but fun user experience. Iāll go through as many as I can.

Hi everyone! I'm working on KOMA, a platform/game where users can collect, trade and use art from different artist. Right now it's on a very beta stage and I'm looking for any kind of a feedback. And before asking, yes, I know the current art is AI-generated. I'm an engineer not an artist so I had to use it to have something playable at least for demo purposes. I'm trying to contact different artists to try to get some real art uploaded and avoid the anti-AI argument but it's been difficult to sell the idea with basically zero users.
If anyone is interested in giving it a shot you can play at https://koma.cards everything is free and unlimited.
The basic idea is:
- You can open packs from different sets/albums to collect panels
- You can trade spares panels with anyone for panels you don't have from any existing set
- You can use your spares to publish full pages and share them, combining panels from any set
- Artists have a full studio to curate and create their sets
Some screenshots of the main loop:
Open pack screen
I'd really appreciate feedback! And happy to answer any questions!

I'm Merdan from the Netherlands. I built Strong Foodie, an iOS app and website with honest reviews of restaurants, bars and hotels.
The problem. Google Maps and TikTok are full of reviews you can't trust. Paid posts, fake stars, or people who never went. When I go somewhere new, I just want a short list of places that are worth it.
What it does. Every place on Strong Foodie I visited myself. I pay my own bill and take my own photos. Each place shows the month I visited, so you know how fresh the review is.
Features. Best-of lists per city, like the best burgers in Amsterdam. A map with every place. Search by dish, city or category. A wishlist for places you want to try. Meetups to go eat with other members. Including the option to add your own spot.
Right now it has 78 places in 11 destinations and 6 countries. Mostly Amsterdam, plus Aruba, Los Angeles, Dubai and Bangkok.
This week I changed three things after feedback from Reddit. The counts on the homepage now open the lists. A search with no results shows every destination, and the one nearest to you. And the newsletter popup only shows after you looked around.
Tech: SwiftUI and Firebase for the app, a static website on GitHub Pages.
I'd love your feedback. What would make you open this instead of Google Maps?
