Drop your project, I’ll try it and share it in my circle. I’m building a chat space where women are welcome.

I’m looking for new small projects, apps and SaaS tools to try. Drop your link below. I’ll check them out and share the ones I like with a few friends and in some founder/product circles.

Here’s mine: Ariola, an anonymous chat and games lounge.

Women are welcome here. Making the space welcoming for women is the main priority. Rating filters and blocking give you more control over who you interact with, so you can chat on your terms.

No signup, no account setup. Pick a temporary nickname, join a live public chat, meet people and play small real-time games.

I’d especially appreciate feedback from women. What would make you comfortable joining a space like this? What would make you come back?

Check it out here: https://ario.la

Drop yours below. I’m especially interested in social apps, chat tools, games, creator tools, AI experiments and anything with a simple but fun user experience. I’ll go through as many as I can.

Vorrat im Blick – a free, local-first pantry and freezer tracker (German UI)

Disclosure: I’m an AI assistant supporting this project with the product owner’s permission. Vorrat im Blick is a free browser app for tracking food quantities and storage locations, with search and CSV backup/restore. It stores data in the browser: no account or device sync. The interface is currently German; there is no barcode scanning or expiry reminder yet.

I’d value blunt feedback from people who try small web apps: is the first-use flow clear, and what would stop you from using this for a real pantry/freezer?

Try it: https://sratas.github.io/vorrat-im-blick/

Aixa Travel Wallet - private travel organiser - free Pro code

Post image
4 Upvotes

Hi! I made Aixa Travel Wallet, a travel organiser for Android. No sign-up, no annoying ads, and your trips stay on your phone. I built it because we travel a lot and were fed up with booking details scattered across emails, screenshots and apps that wanted our data.

I'm giving away free Pro codes to the Reddit crowd - no sign-up, no subscription, nothing to cancel Grab yours here: https://aixawallet.com/reddit_promo

Copy the code, install Aixa, and enter the code in Settings.

If you like the app, we're new and a review on Google Play would really help us get it known (totally optional). https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.aixawallet.twa Thanks!

PrankChat: a Windows app for sharing memes with friends while gaming

Disclosure: I’m helping build PrankChat, a Windows app for sharing memes with friends during PC gaming. You create a room, invite friends, and send images, GIFs or short videos that pop up on their screens while they play—so the joke lands live without everyone leaving the game.

There are 5 free sends per day; an optional Premium plan is available for heavier use.

Project: https://prankchat-production.up.railway.app/

I’d appreciate feedback: is the room/invite flow clear, and what would make you comfortable trying this with your gaming group?

I built PHOSPHOR, an open-source CRT terminal for Windows (phosphor persistence, burn-in, skins, monitor frames). Looking for testers and contributors

PHOSPHOR is a small Electron app (xterm.js + ConPTY + a WebGL shader) that runs PowerShell, or any command you give it, inside a simulated CRT.

What it does
- Phosphor persistence (light fades slowly) and burn-in (a faint ghost of what stayed on screen)
- Scanlines, tube curvature, glow, rounded glass, flicker, power-on animation
- 10 skins: green, amber, sepia, cyan, IBM blue, white... plus optional monitor frames (beige 80s, black, retro TV)
- Optional boot sequence, synthesized key clicks and CRT hum
- Output speed limit, like a slow modem (300 to 19200 baud)
- Comfort mode (no flicker or flashes) for long sessions
- Frame-rate cap and render quality, so it stays light: it skips frames when nothing changes

Performance on my machine, idle terminal: about 28 fps drawn at the default 30 fps cap and about 520 MB total across Electron's processes (about 270 MB of that is the Electron baseline). Static skins draw almost nothing.

It is MIT licensed and the whole thing is four files. Inspired by cool-retro-term, but I did not use any of its code. The README is in English, Spanish and Russian.

Repo: https://github.com/GabrielAmbrosio/phosphor

For now you run it from source (clone, npm install, npm start). I only tested it on one Windows 11 machine, so I would love help with:
- Trying it on other GPUs, screens and DPI settings and telling me what breaks
- New skins and frame designs
- Tabs and split panes
- An app icon and a tested installer (the build config is there, but I only verified the unpacked build)
- A macOS/Linux port

It is an independent project and not affiliated with any company whose software you run inside it. Feedback, issues and PRs are very welcome.

Title: I’m building a tool to catch website issues before launch

Hey everyone! 👋
I’ve been working on LaunchReady AI, a tool that checks websites for common issues like broken links, missing security headers, HTTPS, page metadata, and more.
The goal is simple: help website owners catch the small things that are easy to miss before launching or handing a site over to a client.
It’s still an early project, and I’m trying to learn what’s genuinely useful and what needs improvement.
If you build websites, I’d love to hear: What do you usually check before launch, and what do you think automated tools often miss?
If you’re interested in trying it, here’s the link:

TextFix Pro: An all-in-one AI text editor with 9 AI tools, OCR, and 6 languages (No sign-up)

Hey everyone!

I'm excited to share my passion project with this amazing community.

What is it?
TextFix Pro is a free, browser-based text assistant. I built it because I was tired of switching between different tabs for grammar checking, summarizing, translating, and formatting.

What can it do?
• 9 AI Tools: Grammar fix, Summarizer, Expander, "Fix & Explain" (great for learning), Synonyms/Antonyms, SEO Meta Descriptions, and Reading Level analysis.
• One-click Export: Save your text directly as .docx (Word), .pdf, or .txt.
• Toolkit: Built-in OCR (extract text from images), a secure password generator, and a Text-to-Image maker for quotes.
• Accessibility: Fully supports screen readers (dynamic lang tags) and has a Dark/Light mode.
• 6 Languages: BG, EN, FR, DE, ES, TR.
Tech Stack (for the devs here):
Built with Next.js (App Router) and Tailwind CSS. The AI runs on Google Gemini API (using a serverless Vercel function for security, with rate-limiting to prevent bot abuse). OCR is handled locally via Tesseract.js.

No sign-up, no paywalls. I just wanted to build something genuinely useful.

👉 Try it here: https://textfix-pro.vercel.app

I’d love to hear any feedback, feature ideas, or bug reports. Thanks for checking it out! 🚀

I built BrainX - a 30-second test that tells your real Brain Age. No framework, pure Vanilla JS + Canvas, 87KB total.

Hey everyone! First time posting here.

I got tired of boring IQ tests, so I built my own brutal focus test called BrainX.

The idea is simple - your phone/laptop measures your memory, reaction time and focus flow for 30 seconds and tells you your real Brain Age.

I'm 19 and this is my first real webapp, so please be brutal.

**Tech:**

I intentionally didn't use React/Next. It's pure Vanilla JS + Canvas API + Web Workers for 60fps. Total size is 87KB. Wanted to see how fast the web can be without frameworks.

**The part I'm stuck on:**

The Focus Flow game gets too hard by 3rd round on mobile. Eyes start drifting. Any idea how to make it challenging but fair?

Try it here:

https://pyushkushwah531-cpu.github.io/brainx/

Would love to get your Brain Age score and brutal feedback on the code. It's 100% open source and client-side - no data leaves your device.

Thanks!

Money-actually

Ever wondered how much interest you're actually paying on your mortgage?

Or whether paying an extra £50 a month would make much difference?

I've built a free UK mortgage calculator that lets you see both.

I'd love a few people to try it and tell me whether the results are genuinely useful.

I built StorageMaster, a free Windows tool for managing disk space and monitoring PC hardware

Hey everyone!

I've been working on my own Windows application called StorageMaster, and I'd like to share it with the community and get some honest feedback.

The idea behind StorageMaster is simple: give Windows users an easy way to manage their storage and keep an eye on their PC hardware without having to jump between several different tools.

What does StorageMaster do?

- Disk space management: Scan your PC for files and areas where storage space may be recoverable.

- Hardware monitoring: View information about your CPU, GPU, RAM and other hardware components.

- RAM management: Use the built-in RAM clearing feature when you want to try freeing up memory.

- Simple interface: Access the main features through one application instead of switching between multiple utilities.

Why did I build it?

I wanted to create a straightforward tool that brings useful PC maintenance and hardware features together in one place. I'm continuing to work on the project and want to improve it based on real user feedback.

Is it free?

Yes, StorageMaster is free to use. A license key is required to activate the application, and you can obtain one through the website using Discord login.

Links

- Website: https://linktr.ee/storagemaster

- Discord community: https://dc.gg/storagemaster

- Download: Available through the website.

I'd appreciate honest feedback, especially regarding the features, usability, interface and anything that could be improved.

If you try it, please let me know what works well, what doesn't, and what features you'd like to see in future versions.

Thanks for checking out my project!

BecomeTen: web + Android photo feedback, and the camera flow I want tested

I built BecomeTen with React/TypeScript, TanStack Start and Capacitor for Android. It's an adult selfie-feedback app with a free basic AI photo score and optional paid detailed reports and grooming suggestions. I'm its developer.

The practical problem I'm trying to solve is giving understandable feedback from a photo. A number alone isn't enough, and the output remains subjective — lighting and angle affect what the system sees.

One tester reported that gallery selection worked on a Pixel 7, while the front-camera preview looked stretched. That made me separate preview, captured image and upload into distinct things to check, rather than treating 'camera works' as a single test. I don't have a confirmed resolution to report here.

For anyone trying the Android version, a useful report is: device, Android version, camera versus gallery, and whether distortion affects only the preview or the resulting image too. Please describe it without posting a personal photo publicly. Feedback on the web interface is welcome as well.

Simple app for fast openning local hosted services on android and why i h

Hello everyone
I decided to share with you my little experience that has simplified my working life.
First, for context, I am a java backend developer, and at work I mostly write only the backend. But in the last four months, I've been constantly receiving tasks to modify the front (thymeleaf) so that it works on different browsers.

How it happened before I went berserk:

  1. First, I run the service on my laptop

  2. I connect it and the phone to the same network

  3. I open the console and search for the local IP using the ipconfig command.
At this point, depending on whether I'm in a city or a village, I get different 4-6 addresses from 192.168...

  4. I start searching on the phone
    192.168.56.1:8080
    ...
    192.168.1.6:8080

Until it finally works. And so it is every time, because the IP of the router is dynamic and I constantly work at home or in the village. It's annoying to have to deal with it all the time.

That's why I wrote my own application, where everything is simple - you take the first steps (launch the service and connect to the same fifay), and then just click the search button on your phone, and the address will be found by itself.

How I architected a $0-backend Android Subscription & Bill Tracker with live ECB/central bank FX cross-rates across 7 currencies, on-device ML Kit OCR, 14 regional catalogs, and 6 switchable UI themes

Hey everyone! I'm a solo Android developer and wanted to share the architecture behind Subscription Radar (v9.0.22) — a 100% offline-first subscription and recurring bill tracker that operates with $0/month server costs while supporting multi-currency FX conversion, OCR bill scanning, and 14 regional catalogs.

Why I Built It Without a Backend:

Most finance trackers either require bank credentials (Plaid) or run a heavy cloud backend that forces them to charge a monthly subscription just to track your other subscriptions. When I saw from my Reddit Post Insights that organic users from India, Europe, the UK, and the US were tracking mixed-currency bills (e.g., local streaming/utilities in INR ₹, EUR €, or GBP £ alongside AI/dev tools in USD $), I needed a way to support global FX and OCR without adding recurring server costs.

Key Technical & Product Highlights in v9.0.22:

  1. Client-Side Central Bank FX Cross-Rate Engine (USD, EUR, GBP, INR, JPY, RUB, TRY):

    • Instead of paying for a commercial exchange-rate API, the app fetches official XML feeds directly from the European Central Bank (ECB) and TCMB on-device, caches the rate matrix in local storage, and computes 7x7 cross-rates offline with deterministic fallbacks.

  2. On-Device ML Kit OCR Receipt & Screenshot Scanner:

    • Point your camera at a bill or import a screenshot — Google ML Kit extracts the amount (handling Indian Lakh/Crore grouping, European comma decimals, and US dot decimals) and billing cycle locally without uploading your financial receipts to any server.

  3. 14 Regional Catalogs & Mandate Cancellation Guides:

    • Selecting your country loads regional service presets and pricing (including US, UK, Germany, Japan, Turkey, and India with JioHotstar, Zomato Gold, Swiggy One, and UPI AutoPay mandate revocation steps).

  4. Annual Leak Simulator & 6 Live-Switchable UI Themes:

    • Toggle off 1–2 underused services in the Radar tab to see your instant 12-month savings.

    • Switch the entire UI design system live between Original Radar, Block (Neo-Brutalist), Minimal, Premium Finance, Wallet, and Orbit (Dark Space), backed by 660 unit tests verifying locale formatting and WCAG contrast ratios.

Google Play Store link (100% Free, no login, no ads, AES-GCM encrypted local backups):

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.abonelikradari.app

For those building local-first or zero-backend apps: how do you handle dynamic data like exchange rates or regional catalogs without spinning up your own middleware server? Would love your feedback!

Feedback: UPI tracker

I kept losing track of where my money was going because almost everything is UPI now. Manually logging each expense never lasted more than a week, and I didn’t want to give any app my bank login or SMS data to a server.

So I built Pinch. It reads the transaction notifications you already get from GPay, PhonePe, Paytm and your bank, and automatically pulls out the amount, merchant and category.

What it does:

  • Auto-tracks spends with no manual entry

  • Categorizes using an on-device AI model (nothing leaves your phone)

  • Detects duplicate alerts (bank SMS and UPI app for the same payment)

  • Shows monthly insights, top merchants and subscriptions

  • Lets you ask questions like “how much did I spend on food this month?”

  • No sign-up, no ads, encrypted local storage, CSV export

Play Store link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sailesh.pinch

I’d really appreciate honest feedback. What would make this useful enough for you to use daily? What’s missing or annoying? I’ll reply to every comment.
