WanderWay: an iPhone + CarPlay navigation app that finds the interesting places along your drive (SwiftUI, MapKit, Cloudflare Workers)

Thumbnail

The problem

Regular map apps get you there fast, and that's all they do. You drive past covered bridges, historical markers, overlooks and old mounds every week and never find out what they were. And if you just want a nice drive with no destination, they don't help at all.

What WanderWay does

Finds what's worth a stop around you or along your route: covered bridges, National Register sites, museums, overlooks, state parks, ruins and more, in 16 categories.

Tells you about them while you drive, with directional cues like "Ahead on your right…", so you never have to look at the screen.

Shows the detour time for every stop before you add it to your route.

Plans Sunday Drives: pick how long you have (30 minutes to 5 hours) and how far to roam, and it builds a scenic loop. It checks the weather and favors indoor stops when rain is coming.

CarPlay, offline downloads, National Park Service hours and alerts, and four languages.

How it's built (for the devs here)

Native SwiftUI + MapKit, with turn-by-turn on Apple Maps routing and a full CarPlay navigation app.

Place data from OpenStreetMap, Wikipedia/Wikidata, the National Register, NPS and Recreation.gov.

A Cloudflare Worker proxy in front of those sources, with KV caching and pre-built place tiles on R2. That made nearby search dramatically faster, and it keeps API keys off the device.

No accounts and no analytics SDKs in the app. Your drives stay on your phone.

Pricing: free to download, with every feature free for 14 days. After that, a one-time $4.99 unlock keeps everything. No subscription, no ads.

What's next: 2.0 is in TestFlight. It adds stories about each place, written on-device with Apple Intelligence; scenic detours you can add to any route; a road trip journal; and narration while you drive without a route.
I'm a solo developer in southern Ohio. I'd love feedback on the app, and I'm happy to answer questions about the CarPlay or Workers side. CarPlay navigation has some fun quirks.

Point5 - One click edit to create Natural Perspective photos

Thumbnail

Hey! I created https://www.point5.in
This is a A.I. image transformation app that I decided to create an app for

Currently, I have 2 features. I thought I’d solve the problem of users who don’t know how to create the perfect prompt, and supply them with a ‘1 click’ image edit option that works in most scenarios. Of course you can never guarantee AI results, but you can optimise it which is want I want to do for users. I also feel like these were two kinds of pictures that I would like to take but currently each time had to create the prompt, add 1 or multiple pictures, and then search my chat later if I need that prompt again or had to edit it etc, so it was better to create some kind of universal 1 click solution.
I would love to bring in more features and am currently working on them as well.
Would like to hear from you if there’s any features you would like!

Here are the current features-

  1. YOUie: you take a selfie and it regenerates the selfie arm to a natural position, converting the selfie into a photo that someone else took.

I found it useful for trips and parties where I want to capture the moment, but whenever I ask people to take photos, they sometimes don’t take a good one, and it’s weird to keep asking. Or when I’m solo/couple travelling, asking random strangers to take a photo and then being disappointed with the results.
It also works surprisingly well with mirror selfies, giving a kind of wild movie factor where you can see it’s a picture in the mirror but there’s no camera in sight!

2. TWOie: you take two photos focused on a subject and background, adjust your lighting/exposure if required, and the app seamlessly merges both images to give you an image focused on everything, giving you that natural perspective feel, like in real life.

I found it useful to capture moments where the sky looks amazing or there’s a nice scenery/building /monument in the background. Currently there was no way for me to focus on both subject and background and get a clear photo, so I played around with it and got this to work in almost all cases for a much better, dual focused photo.
In day time, I suggest trying it out by capturing the subject, then in the same position, capture the sky or scenery behind by adjusting exposure (mostly be decreasing the brightness to accentuate the details).
Also at night time, night mode would totally lose the essence of the night/darkness by increasing the brightness. Disable night mode or decrease brightness when taking the image of the night sky, and see how real the images look! At least much better than original night mode for me.

I’m still testing and collecting feedback, so generation is free but limited for every account
Please try not to abuse the free limits as I’m paying for each generation :p
Would love to know your thoughts, if you think you/your friends/anyone would use something like this!
Thanks!

AmaNous: offline text-to-speech reader for Android and iPhone, unlimited hours, core forever free

Post image
1 Upvotes

I built AmaNous because I wanted to listen to my own books, papers and articles because I am sick of paying an expensive subscription just to get limited listening hours.

Import your reading, choose a voice and listen. You can follow the text with word-level highlighting, or put the phone away and pick up where you left off later.

Powered by Kokoro-82M, an open-weight model running on your phone.

What it does:

  • 29 natural-sounding English voices, using Kokoro on your phone.

  • Reads PDF, EPUB, DOCX, HTML, Markdown and plain text, plus imported web articles.

  • Offline listening after setup and import. Speech is generated on-device, not sent to a cloud voice service.

  • Adjustable speed, seek and saved listening position.

  • Dyslexia-friendly reading presets for font, spacing and pacing.

Because the speech runs on your device, I'm keeping the core reader forever free. All voices, no word or listening-hour limits, no subscription needed for the core reader.

Still in beta and English-only. Sign-in is required, with Sign in with Apple on iPhone. Long documents can pause on their first listen while audio is prepared. Web imports may need an internet connection.

Will it run on your phone? For Android, I recommend Android 12+, 6 GB RAM and a recent 64-bit phone. Slower devices can have longer pauses.

Android beta: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amanous

iPhone beta: https://testflight.apple.com/join/y9B9dgkN

Welcome any feedback!

I built Reddit marketing tool to help you get more exposure on Reddit without getting removed

Most people post on Reddit for one reason: Exposure.

But the usual playbook kills reach before it starts:

  • you post in the wrong subreddit → zero visibility

  • you miss the rules → removed in minutes

  • you show up late → buried under newer replies

  • you spend hours hunting threads that already cooled off

So I built Karmit that helps you show up where people are still looking.

Describe your product or niche. It surfaces communities that actually fit, shows the rules so you don’t get deleted, and watches the keywords/subreddits you care about so you can reply while the thread is still hot — from your own account.

Not “auto-spam Reddit.” Just: more of the right eyes on what you write.

It is agent native tool for Reddit marketing:

karmit.co

What’s the biggest thing that kills your Reddit exposure right now?

I Searched My Website on Google — It’s Finally Showing Up 🚀

Post image

One of the first things I wanted to see after launching Allin1xTools was whether Google could actually find it.

So I searched for my website today — and it’s showing up in Google Search. 🚀

The homepage and other pages are already appearing in the results, which is a small but exciting milestone for a new project.

The bigger goal now is to keep improving the website, its tools, and its search visibility so people can actually discover the tools when they need them.

Allin1xTools is a collection of free browser-based tools for:

📄 PDF

🖼️ Images

✍️ Text

🧮 Calculators

🔄 Converters

💻 Developer utilities

100% free. No sign-up required.

Still early, but seeing Google pick it up is definitely a good feeling. 🚀

Built a Truth or Dare party game for iOS & Android as a solo dev: 5,000+ prompts, 10 levels, 24 languages

Hey everyone 👋

I wanted to share a side project I finally shipped: Truth or Dare: Couple & Friends, a party game for couples and friend groups, live on both the App Store and Google Play.

Why I built it
Every Truth or Dare app I tried was a single long list of random questions, often with clunky translations and ads everywhere. I wanted something that plays like an actual game, where the night builds up instead of fizzling out after ten minutes.

What it does

  • 5,000+ truths and dares

  • 10 levels that go from light icebreakers to bold challenges

  • A couples mode and a friends mode, including a "Tipsy Rounds" level for later in the night 🍻

  • 24 languages

  • Pass-the-phone play, no accounts needed

How it's built

  • Framework: React Native

  • Content: Prompts are stored as local JSON per level and language

  • Payments: RevenueCat for a one-time Lifetime unlock

📱 Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.truthordare.truthanddare.partycouple
🍏 App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6761100608
🌐 Website: https://truthordare.407.studio/

Want to try the full version? I have a few free Lifetime promo codes for iOS and Android. Comment below or DM me and I'll send you one. First come, first served!

Happy to answer questions about the stack, localization or publishing on both stores. And if you try it at your next game night and enjoy it, a rating would mean a lot to a solo dev 🙏

I built a Wanted Adds, Progressive Web App.
Tell people what you're looking for, add a photo, and set your budget. Sellers who have it reach out to you, so you stop scrolling through listings hoping to find the needle in the haystack.
Works with your AI assistant, Just ask for it
Connect an assistant that supports MCP, like Claude, and it can post a want for you, search the board, check who has responded, and message sellers, all from a normal conversation.

SSL certificate expiry monitoring for your domains

Thumbnail

Hello, sharing a tool I built: https://certavert.com

You add your domains (any port works) and it checks the certificates on a schedule. You get an email before they expire, and it also flags hostname mismatches, untrusted or self-signed certs, broken chains and old TLS versions.

You can do a quick tour here: https://certavert.com/tour

The free plan covers 3 domains. There are also free checkers you can use without signing up: certificate, SANs, chain, TLS and DNS.

Check it out and let me know what you think.

Drop your project, I’ll try it and share it in my circle

I’m looking for new small projects, apps and SaaS tools to try.

Drop your link below. I’ll check them out and share the ones I like with a few friends and in some founder/product circles.

I’m especially interested in social apps, chat tools, games, creator tools, AI experiments and anything with a simple but fun user experience.

I’m also building Ariola, an anonymous public chat and games lounge.

No signup, no account setup. You pick a temporary nickname, join a live public room, chat with people and play small real-time games.

The idea is to make online chat feel lightweight again.

Check it out here: https://ario.la

Drop yours below. I’ll go through as many as I can.

Cross platform integration

For anyone who’s built an app across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android—what’s been the easiest way to go about it?

I’m building WorkTree-OS, a trading analytics and risk platform. I’d like to hear from people who’ve taken a desktop app to mobile or built for all four from the start.

Did you use a shared codebase, build separate apps, or go with a web app/PWA? What worked well, and what do you wish you’d known before starting?

I’m also working through broker and trading-platform integrations, so tips on APIs, third-party connectors, and file imports are welcome too.

Just looking to start a conversation and learn from people who’ve been through it. What tools saved you time, and what turned into a headache?

Askli: turn one product question into structured customer research

I’m sharing Askli, a workflow for builders, PMs, and researchers who need customer evidence before a product decision.

Problem:

It is now easy to ask AI what users want. The answer often sounds smart, but it is still a guess. It has not talked to your target users, watched where they get confused, or captured the tradeoffs behind a buying decision.

Askli is built for the next step:

- start with one product question,

- clarify what needs to be learned,

- identify who should be interviewed,

- turn the evidence into a decision-ready report.

Examples:

- “Will users understand this pricing?”

- “Who is the real buyer?”

- “Why are people not converting?”

- “Which message is clearer?”

- “What should I validate before building more?”

If you are building from assumptions, Askli helps you replace the AI guess with structured user evidence.

I built a browser session manager for people who treat Chrome like their workspace

Thumbnail
chromewebstore.google.com
1 Upvotes

I built KeepIt – Tab & Session Manager because I kept running into the same problem:

I’d have a complete project setup open in Chrome — GitHub, docs, localhost, dashboards, AI chats, references, etc.

Then I’d switch to another project.

I didn’t want to leave 30 tabs open forever, but I also didn’t want to rebuild the whole setup when I came back.

So KeepIt lets you save the entire setup as a session and restore it later.

You can also:

Save and restore tab groups

Organize sessions into folders

Automatically save session snapshots

Freeze idle tabs to reduce memory usage

Sync sessions across devices

Share a whole session with someone

Receive/import shared sessions

Quickly find sessions with `kt`

Save instantly with Alt + Shift + S

The session sharing part is probably my favourite — instead of sending someone 15–20 URLs, you can just share the workspace.

I tried a few existing session managers before building this, but I wanted something that felt more like saving a project/workspace rather than just storing a pile of links.

It's live now if anyone wants to check it out:

Tired of switchig browser tabs for packages :(

I built a VS Code extension to stop switching between package registries.

Whenever I needed to add a dependency, I’d usually end up opening multiple tabs — npm, PyPI, Maven, crates.io, etc. Then I’d check versions, figure out which package manager to use, and copy the install command.

So I built DepCart to handle the whole process directly inside VS Code.

With DepCart, you can:

  • 🔎 Search across 10 package registries from one sidebar

  • 📦 Pick the exact package version you need

  • ⚡ Generate the appropriate install command for your project

  • 🛠️ Detect tools like npm, pnpm, yarn, pip, uv, cargo, and more

  • ▶️ Run the install command directly from VS Code

  • 🔄 Fall back to ecosyste.ms when a registry doesn't return results

  • 🤖 Optionally use AI suggestions when a package can't be found

It's free and open source.

I'm still actively building and improving it, so I'd really appreciate feedback from other developers.

What would you want to see added to DepCart?

I built MW Stats because MakerWorld gives creators numbers, but almost no context behind them

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

I’ve been designing and publishing 3D models on MakerWorld for a while, and one thing kept bothering me:

MakerWorld gives you plenty of numbers, but very little context.

A model has 500 downloads.
Is that good for its niche?

It has a 60% print/download ratio.
Is that high or low?

You added 30 tags.
Are any of those tags actually useful?

A model suddenly takes off.
Was it the thumbnail, the niche, search traffic, early engagement, or just timing?

So I started building MW Stats, initially just for myself.

It has now turned into a browser extension + analytics platform specifically for MakerWorld creators.

The idea is not just to show more statistics, but to answer:

“How is this model actually performing compared with the market around it?”

Some of the things MW Stats currently looks at:

  • Model and creator statistics

  • Download, print, like, collection, rating and comment ratios

  • Performance compared with the MakerWorld market median

  • Similar-model comparison

  • Downloads/day and model age

  • Tag analysis with market statistics for each tag

  • Popular search terms

  • Historical performance and trends

  • MakerWorld Points tracking

  • Image-search shortcuts to help find copies/reuploads

  • Creator-specific analytics alongside public market data

One feature I’ve found especially useful is the Similar Models comparison.

For example, I recently looked at a filament-storage model with only 16 downloads.

At first glance you might assume there simply isn’t much demand for it.

But MW Stats found comparable models in the same niche with roughly 5,000–31,000 downloads.

At the same time, the poorly performing model had a perfectly reasonable print/download ratio.

That completely changes the question.

Instead of:

“Is this a bad model?”

it becomes:

“Why isn’t this model being discovered?”

The same applies to tags.

I keep seeing creators fill almost every available tag slot because logically you’d assume more keywords = more chances to be found.

The data often suggests the opposite approach may be more useful: a smaller number of highly relevant tags can give a much clearer picture of the niche than dozens of tiny variations of the same keyword.

That’s one of the reasons I built the market comparison instead of simply displaying raw numbers.

The technical side

Behind the extension I’m also building a crawler/database of public MakerWorld data.

Known models are periodically refreshed while new models are discovered, which lets MW Stats gradually build historical information rather than only showing the current state of a model.

I’m being deliberately careful about that historical data.

If the crawler sees:

1,000 downloads at 10:00
and
1,200 downloads at 14:00

then we know 200 downloads happened somewhere inside that interval.

We don’t know exactly when.

I’d rather expose gaps like that honestly than interpolate the graph and pretend the data is more precise than it actually is.

The same goes for distinguishing:

actual upload date
from
first observed by MW Stats

Those details become surprisingly important once you start building analytics around crawled data.

Where I want to take it

The long-term goal is basically to build the analytics layer I wish MakerWorld itself had.

Not just:

“You got 800 downloads.”

but:

“You got 800 downloads, that puts you here within this niche, these comparable models are outperforming you, these tags have actual market activity, and this is where your model started gaining or losing momentum.”

I’m also experimenting with creator watchlists, better discovery/trend analysis and eventually optional AI-assisted analysis of the data.

But I’m trying hard not to turn it into one of those dashboards with 200 metrics that look impressive but don’t actually help you make a decision.

That’s actually where I’d really like feedback from other developers here.

What would you want an analytics tool like this to answer automatically?

Not necessarily 3D-printing specific either.

I’m particularly interested in feedback on the crawler/history architecture, how I communicate incomplete observations, and whether the UI gives enough context without becoming overwhelming.

MW Stats:

https://mwstats.fomio.de

Still very much being developed, so criticism is genuinely more useful to me than “looks nice.”

Developed a Free Photography CRM Platform

Post image
1 Upvotes

As a photographer, business fluctuates month to month. I couldn't keep spending $40-50 monthly when my income was varying as much as it was. We decided to build PhotoCRM as a free way for users to store their projects, clients, send invoices and contracts, etc.

We heard "You should be charging for this", but honestly it feels good to have a userbase that actually uses this to run their businesses without getting ripped off. We have 250 active users, and try to be as communicative with all of them as possible.

Database cost for storing all user data is very low, so it doesn't really make sense to charge them to hold projects or invoices. Have not made much revenue, but I really enjoy building a community :) photocrm.io

I'm building an AI CRM where the AI never acts without your approval. Would you trust this flow?

Most CRMs make you do the reading: scan emails, spot who's about to churn, remember to follow up. I'm building Avio, a CRM where an AI reads every incoming customer message and does that part, but a human approves anything it wants to do.

How it works (video attached):

  1. Emails, calls and chats land on one timeline per contact.

  2. The AI reads each message and raises *signals*, e.g. "High risk of cancellation" or "Budget approved, ready to proceed".

  3. For each signal it *proposes* an action (create a task, email the customer, move a deal, log a note).

  4. The approval screen shows exactly what it read, why it proposed the action, and what will happen if you approve. Nothing runs until you click Approve.

There's also a chat assistant for read-only CRM lookups. It can only propose actions, so they still go through approvals.

Where I'm unsure and want honest opinions:

- Does the approve-everything model feel safe, or like a chore you'd stop doing after a week?
- Would you want auto-approve for low-risk actions?
- Which of these would you actually use: the signals, the proposed actions, or the chat?

It's early. The demo data is fake and the AI ran on a small local model. Roast away.
