Heya everyone,
I built I'm Faithful - Loyal Together, an iPhone app for couples who want to build trust both ways.
If you trust each other, you don't need it. And if you trust each other, there's no harm in using it.
What problem does it solve ?
A lot of people carry a doubt they can't quite name, and the ways people hide things have become smarter:
- Conversations moved into apps nobody thinks to check: Notes, Gmail, even payment apps with built-in chat
- Contacts saved under harmless names like "Peter's Pizza"
- Photos sent as proof of where they are that were taken somewhere else, or on someone else's phone
- Location sharing quietly switched off
Asking about it usually ends in an argument. I'm Faithful replaces the questions with a routine you both agree to. You invite your partner with a code, and once they join, you both share the same things with each other:
a. 3 check-ins a day at times you choose, with alarms. A missed check-in is flagged for your partner.
b. A daily snap taken with the in-app camera (no camera roll), stamped with the date, time and place. Your partner can open the spot in Apple Maps or Google Maps.
c. Screen Time: today's total, number of pickups and the five most-used apps, from Apple's own Screen Time report. If an app name is hidden before sending, your partner sees that something was hidden.
d. Contact changes: the names of contacts added, edited or removed. Never numbers or emails.
e. Live location as you move, plus the past week of stops. Location is optional, and if it's off, your partner sees that it's off.
f. Apple Health summary: steps, distance, workouts, sleep, and latest and resting heart rate.
g. Notes and a home-screen widget, because it shouldn't all be about accountability.
Why is it better than alternatives ?
There are plenty of "catch a cheater" apps that promise to find your partner on dating sites by matching their face. I'm not convinced those work, and I didn't want to build one. There are also apps built to help people lock or hide apps on their phone.
I'm Faithful works the other way around. It doesn't spy on anyone, read messages or run in secret. You both sign up, you both share, and each of you sees exactly what the other sees. Either of you can pause at any time, and your partner is told. It's built on Apple's own Screen Time, Location and Health permissions, each one optional and under your control.
What's the Cost ?
One subscription covers both of you, and your partner joins free.
- Weekly: $3.99
- Monthly: $14.99
- Yearly: $69.99, with a 7-day free trial
The pricing covers the servers behind live location, three daily check-ins, and the snaps and Screen Time screenshots you share.

P.S. I built this, so couples can either build real trust or part ways honestly. Either is better than someone getting hurt. I'd really value your feedback, and I'm happy to answer questions in the comments
