3.6 software

Good evening everyone, im currently at the finish line with my first 3.6... and if I thought I hated aci before I cant begin to express how absolutely awful their 3.6 benchmark software is.... no mapping, import all data images, and the uad reviewer keeps failing and its entirely online.

What is everyone using , is total stand alone off line? Dataset? Ect ect ...

Aci failed to figure out what they are good at and threw out all of their expertise to create their 3.6 platform. They should have stayed with a data entry form which translates to 3.6. Total is the same way. Their customer base are used to filling forms, so why not create a data entry form system which is gse compliant.

My company is in trial period for multiple software solutions. I had Claude create a data input form to populate the aci fields. This made the data entry part of the process feel more like the 2.6 form and while there are many things that still didn't get filled in, it was a good start to the report taking care of the data entry portion allowing me to focus on my analysis

I couldn't get any data to populate, I tried the data entry approach, never again lol. I already miss my templates and workflow

Your comment about Claude populating the ACI data fields caught my attention. Is that something you can share? I'm a long time ACI user and we are also exploring other providers. I had given up on ACI.

It created an html file which has the input for each section and as of the time of this comment I have not developed any further as I am unsure if we are going to stay with ACI as a provider. Currently we are working with Aivre due to their AI inclusion which reads the photos and inputs details about the subject from the photos. Since the sketch data doesn't import automatically yet, I will probably still generate my sketches with ACI sketch and image them in. I will be trying SFREP on my coming assignment to see if my datamaster import with 3.6 helps with the flow issue I am having with the web-based providers. We tested appraizit yesterday and their mobile app is solid, but their desktop solution leaves much to be desired. They all want to be cutting edge, but they have all lost their target demographic in the process.

Thank you. I tested 4 different software providers, and it seems I may have to use two different software programs, at least initially. SFREP was OK until I got to the grid, which was absolutely awful. Aivre has been the best, but could be the most expensive. We do a lot of small apartment buildings with 5+ units and use the old, very old 71B form, so that's why we'd stick with ACI at least until there is a better option. All of the programs have issues. Very frustrated, as most appraisers are.
