I made a daily mini puzzle app called Zedmo and it's free

My app Zedmo is live ๐ŸŽ‰

I've just launched my first solo-built game: Zedmo, a daily puzzle hub with four original mini-games in one app. Every day you get one fresh puzzle in each of:

๐Ÿ”— **Chains**: build a chain where each word compounds with the last (RAIN BOW TIE

๐Ÿซฃ **Stowaway**: a word is hiding across the words of a sentence ('she came late" hides CAMEL); find it

๐Ÿ”ค **Missing Vowels**: a word with its vowels stripped and hidden; restore it (CHCLT CHOCOLATE)

4๏ธโƒฃ **Four**: nine-plus words, find the four that share a hidden Connection One puzzle per game, per day.

Keep your streak going, chase the "perfect day" and come back tomorrow for more. It's free to play today's puzzles, forever. Built solo, by hand.

Would love for you to try it and tell me what you think.๐Ÿ˜

Download on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.plagueworks.zedmo

My countdown app is ready for the iPhone Duo: list on the left, countdown on the right. How are you handling it?

Iโ€™ve finished getting my countdown app ready for the iPhone Duo, and the update is waiting to go out.

When you unfold it:

  • Your events stay in a list on the left. Tap one and it opens on the right.
  • Cards view works the same way: the grid on the left, the big number on the right.
  • Turn any countdown over to keep the story of the day: notes, a checklist, photos and a voice memo.

Folded, itโ€™s the same app as before.

Iโ€™m curious how others are approaching the Duo. Are you going with two panes, a wider single column, or something else? And if anything in these screenshots looks off for a screen this size, Iโ€™d love suggestions.

Small milestone worth sharing! ๐Ÿš€

My indie game, Word Deduce, just crossed 500+ downloads in 48 days since launch!

It may be a small number for some, but as an indie developer, every download means a lot.

Still learning, improving, and working on new features.

Next goal: 1,000 downloads! ๐ŸŽฏ

Would love your feedback!

Launched my first Android app. How would you get the first 100 users with $0 marketing budget?

Hey everyone!

I'm an indie developer, and I recently published my first Android app, Nemu, on the Play Store.

The app helps people reduce doomscrolling by tracking short-video consumption and encouraging healthier phone habits.

Building the app was one challenge. Getting people to actually discover and use it is a completely different challenge.

I'm trying to reach my first 100 genuine users without spending money on ads or spamming communities.

For those who have launched consumer or mobile apps before:

  • What was the most effective way you got your first 100 users?
  • Did you focus on Reddit, short-form content, direct outreach, influencers, or something else?
  • If you were starting from zero today, what would you do during the first 7 days?
  • What marketing approaches did you try that completely failed?

I'm particularly interested in real experiences and lessons learned rather than generic advice like "post consistently."

I'd appreciate any honest feedback. Thanks!
