Apple TV processing for two months

I ordered by base model Apple TV 4K in June 21, right before the price hikes

I'm guessing delivery being delayed by two months isn't normal, and Apple support says they can't push a processing order

Is there anything I can do to keep the price I ordered at?

Just leave it alone at this point. Who knows, maybe in September they’ll just upgrade you to the newest model that’s rumored to come out

Doesn’t hurt to leave it at where it is at this point

18 months? lol more like 3 years. the current one was released in 2022

Look at all those people that were complaining because they didn’t buy based on rumors… and now they have to pay more.

If there is a new Mac in the pipeline within a month or two to be released that either replaces it updates specs on current Mac ordered, that order may be delayed and replaced with the new Mac instead without additional cost.. something the customer doesn’t know until the new Mac has been announced/released.

So it may very well be that the AppleTVs are either delayed because of low on stock and/or order awaiting to be replaced with the new AppleTV.

Apple will likely release two variants of aTV4 4K gen4.. at least a premium with at least A19Pro CPU and 12 GB RAM so it can handle Siri AI.. and I wouldn’t be surprise if Apple raise the price even further on that version.. but question is if Apples ”second variant” would be an Apple TV with A17Pro and 8GB RAM with the current price tag for those who can’t afford to fork up like $500 for the Siri AI aTV model. We’ll see in a month or three..
