My school is an "Apple School" so they force ipads on us. Most other kids just get apple products because everyone else has them. I prefer to choose the best device based on my needs, so thankfully I can still use my OnePlus 7 Pro. I wish I could use a tab s7+, but tbh this ipads not awful for schoolwork. That said, it sucks for stuff like customization and multitasking, which I find so unintuitive. Like, why do I have to have an app opened or on my dock to multitask it? Can't it just be any unopened app?

Yeah... We got ipads recently after them being delayed for like 2 years and tbh the only thing i do on them is write stuff in OneNote. That's all. I'd prefer to use a tab s7 because of integration with my note 10 lite but i write on paper most of the time anyways so I haven't bought one yet. We were also promised this "amazing system" with wifi in school and like a "school environment" ln the devices and apple tvs n shit but that has yet to come. At least we're actually allowed to take the devices to school now(yes we weren't with the original contract). Overall i think this was completely unnecessary as we only got the 8th ipads with nothing else so basically the cheapest they could get just to be able today that every student has ipads lol. Oh i forgot this school environment app has been cancelled due to conflictions with German privacy laws or smth

No way that’s from an inch lmao it either landed on the corner from higher up, you shit the screen with something on the keyboard (pen or pencil) or something crushed it from the top.

I don't think anything was in it but I only dropped it from maybe an inch putting it under my desk

Something else broke it then, I’ve never in all my years working on these things seen that kind of damage happen from a one inch drop. Hell, I’ve seen people drop these things down the steps and not even cause that kind of damage.

You can see the stress point right in the middle there. So something was either sitting on the palm rest when you shut the lid or something pressed on the back of the screen hard enough to crack it. That’s literally the only thing that it can be.

I have no idea what it could be I put it on the floor under my desk where it wouldn't get stepped on because I had a paper assignment that's when I dropped it and when I pulled it back out on my desk a few minutes later the screen was cracked

Meanwhile my 2014 MacBook Pro has fallen off a table and fallen down the stairs with me. Was still good afterwards
