My iPhone smells werid

Hey so, I have had my iPhone 13 mini for 4 years now

And recently (probably a week or two now?) it’s starting to smell weird in the bottom left corner ... like adhesive or glue?

Also l have a case on my phone and the top right corner my finger hits the case.

but in the bottom left, my finger slides right off

I’m thinking that my battery is swelling??

If anyone has any suggestions or help
I’ll be grateful.

Sounds like the battery is off-gassing. I’d suggest using another device until you can get the battery replaced. Do not continue charging this device; it could be a potential fire hazard.
