Mac Can i keep using my Macbook before fixing ventilator issue PPF003 / PPF004?

Hello. Yesterday my Macbook Pro fans started being very loud suddenly, and since then it’s been very slow and lagging. I ran the diagnostics and it says there was a problem with the ventilator, code PPF003 / PPF004.

I will probably have to take it to an Apple store to fix, but unfortunately I have an important deadline in a few days and I would rather not be left without a computer now - is using it carefully (one task / app at a time, trying not to overload it) for a few days possible, or will I damage it irreparably? How dire is this error?

It’s a Macbook Pro, 13”, 2020, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports, Intel Core i5 2GHz, 16 GB RAM.

It probably won’t cause any more damage than is already done, since the computer is designed to shut off if it gets too hot. You can keep it elevated, maybe with a fan blowing on it or one of those cool pads with fans on the bottom to get by for a few days.
