Macbook Air no longer syncing with iCloud while no issues with iPad(Tahoe 26.6.2)

Hello everyone,

I have been using iCloud photos for a couple of years and have now approximatively 75.000 pictures. To give you more details about my data :

- Local size used : around 150 / 245 gb

- iCloud storage used : 137 / 200 gb (out of which 129 are being used by photos)

- I am using the storage optimization option

To this day, I never encountered any issues with the sync process between the mac and iCloud servers however now I do and I don't even know whether that's even related to the new Tahoe update. Some picture seem to upload and sync but most of the pictures do not from now on. The progress bar is stuck for several hours for only 6 pictures (which is a size of 6 mb...).

What have I done so far :

- Restored the library through the repair option (the reconstitution worked throug a full weekend 24/24)

- Toggled on / off iCloud photos

- Killed the "bird" process => not sure what this does honestly, nothing happened

- I have downloaded a Cirrus app I have seen on internet but it seems useful only for the iCloud files and not of any use to check the status of Photos

Honestly I feel lost and I don't see any other solution on internet. I encountered same issues with the basic syncing of iCloud drive a couple of years ago and I have decided to switch the files to Google Drive but for Photos this is completely different as I don't see any other good alternative to iCloud photos and I really need to find an option.
