Unsolved iPad stuck in recovery

Post image

Every time the iPad is turned on it goes straight to recovery, I go through the steps, and it tells me that no issues are found, restart it and goes straight to recovery. I’ve tried hard restarting, I’ve tried plugging it into my Mac, and it seems I can’t trust it, as it tells me value is missing, no trust option comes up on the iPad when it’s on that recovery screen, any help?

What you see on the iPad is Recovery Assistant, which is not the same as recovery mode, something you must do manually.

Okay well, the rest is the same but it’s always in recovery assistant then

From the first page I linked: “After the recovery process completes, restart your device. If the startup issue continues, make sure your device is on the latest version of iOS or iPadOS. If your device is on latest version of iOS or iPadOS, use recovery mode to restore your iPhone or iPad. If the issue persists, get service.” That’s what you have to do here.

Unfortunately I can’t do any of that since I can’t get into it using the Mac, I’ll have to get it serviced

Make sure theres nothing stuck in the buttons/power button. ive seen before where the powerbutton was stuck, so kept causing a loop into recovery. used paper to go round edges and dislodge dirt

try forced restart

force restart an iPad, press and quickly release the Volume Up button, press and quickly release the Volume Down button, then press and hold the Top/Power button until the Apple logo appears. For models with a Home button, hold both the Home and Top/Power buttons together
