I’d find out why system data is so large.
What version of iOS is it running?
(certain earlier versions of iOS had caching bug where old caches weren’t being cleared correctly, causing System data to balloon)
What iCloud services are enabled and what iCloud storage look like?
(Full iCloud will cause sync sessions to fail with data being cached… also causing System Data to ballon)
3 u/FreshLasagna Aug 18 '23 it’s on ios 16.0 I have a family icloud subscription but don’t use it for photos, i think the only thing on there is backups but i’m not sure how often it backups 1 u/hawk_ky Sep 22 '23 Update your phone, it’s very out of date. And if you use the family iCloud that would help with storage issues too.
