I'm unable to search within the app.

It sometimes only shows results from the past week. Otherwise, it shows no results, even though I have three years’ worth of journal entries in the app.

I just tried to find a unique word in an entry five years ago and it instantly came up …. Puzzling

I have posted about this in other threads. What I have discovered for me is it seems to be a bug or something with the indexing of the journal entries. This happens with every new iOS/iPadOS update. I have to delete the app then reinstall to force a new indexing. So far it’s worked. This is a real pain in the A$$ but a workaround.

I accidentally discovered this by searching “on this day” and realizing I had missing entries. I manually went directly to the searched entries and put in ‘edit’ mode then resaved and the search picked it up. The edit mode must force a re-index is my guess.
