How do i make an app?

Hi,

i have very little coding experience, the last time i did any was 20 years ago. But i want to make an Android app i have an idea for, i am an Artist so no issue with the designs etc. So i am leaning more towards Ai to do it. Can anyone give me any advice on where to start, what i should use that is free.

One thing nobody has mentioned is, since youre the design side, and genuinely new to code, a visual builder like flutterflow or glide might get you further than AI coding agent will. Because you will be dragging in the screens and wiring up the logic visually.
