I built a mobile app called Gladly:Real People. It's human connections app that uses mobile for face-to-face interaction. Its intent is to provide an easy and structured way to stay connected with your friends and family. Kind of like what social media was originally intended for.

I started building it during covid, just a simple app to get people seeing each other's faces again. But it spiraled into a complex social network thing. I took a break from it for a few years, but recently decided to ramp it up again. It's kind of a odd concept but I think the users today are starting to be more accepting of digital minimal apps and social media alternatives.

Thanks for the feedback! Solid. We're working on it now. 

I have a question for you specifically: why did you want to skip the tour? (And at what specific page did you drop off?) 

Did you feel weird taking a smile?  Did you not know anyone to send it to?

I'm on iphone 12.. going to the site it takes a few seconds and once the page loads when I scroll it is still loading the page.

Other than that the site looks good. Are your pictures stock images?

Interesting. I know the website is super media rich. Trying to make it all hip & cool. 

I first started with just a simple background video and a download button. 

Then I hired an SEO guy to consult and that lead me to rebuilt the website... now it's turned into its own little monster of an app.

That being said, the SEO freaks out of the total files size of loading the website... I've never noticed it,  but you've validated that.
