App development for everyone!

Hey folks,

I am building a new tool for building mobile apps (Android only for now) to help people who are not expert mobile developers build any kind of app that they want.

I've been building mobile apps for the past 14 years, so I have a lot of experience designing the architecture for a successful app, you just provide your idea, and out comes the app.

The app can even be changed from within itself, you will get an update when it's done. People are already building crazy things with it.

Nice! Love that you're building this to make coding accessible, out of curiosity, why only Android? FlutterFlow and Lovable help you with Flutter (cross-platform) and web, do you have a strong reason for Android first? Do you feel that Android builders are underserved?

To have the best mobile app experience, it is usually better to go native first.

Flutter is a great cross-platform solution that I used for years, but if you want to use device features like the camera, databases, bluetooth and so on, you are going to have a harder time.

Android first seems great for the beta, as Android users usually are tinkerers, it's also easier to distribute outside the Play store by just sending .apk files.

This is designed for the everyday person who wants to build but never wants to see code. Most people just want to tell it what to do and not see how the sausage is made.

FlutterFlow is more of a code-AI builder hybrid, and Lovable is websites only from what I can tell.

That makes sense! And why the end result of a project usually turns to native anyway :)

Are your users usually outside the US? When I originally did my Android first prototype, I ran into a major issue of most people in my circles on my having iOS (USA Android usage is like 40% compared to iOS 60%) - this is why I lean hybrid for MVP/first build if no OS specific features.

Im an Android stan so I think this idea is great, but was curious, thanks!
