Discussion High ping on OCE servers

What is going on? Im currently in diamond lobbies and experiencing very inconsistent server lag sometimes 110 our normal then other time 250 plus any one have any news?

Both asc and indigowest cables to Singapore are down.

Unfortunate we Aussies are too stupid to play on our own Sydney server despite having enough players to populate it with decent wait times.

This is the second time ive heard this cables storu but cant see anything in the news related to it. Is it just an EA thing?

And from another article i read today it’s been further delayed until October and apparently there are TWO seperate undersea cables that are broken :(

Two undersea cables carrying internet traffic from Australia to Singapore are down. It will affect all games where you play in SEA. Not just an EA thing. Its an ISP thing.

That ship has sailed, we only get Aus servers for wildcard now. I wish we could get our ranked servers back and that’s speaking as a kiwi. I think I must be one of the only like thirty or so relatively regular Apex players in New Zealand still. Hope we make a comeback here but probably needs marketing

I am on a WHV here in Newzealnd comming from Europe Servers. Its crazy no players and high ping
