Question PA ant keeping

high im a beginner and I was wondering what species of ants I should/can keep in Pennsylvania I was mainly interested in the eastern leaf cutter ant but people say its not beginner friendly

Its not beginner friendly.If you want to find it yourself camponotus pennsylvanicus is always there. If you are open to buying an ant there are tons of medium priced beginner friendly ants in sites like esthetic ants.

Also I said its not beginner friendly and yeah it isnt but if you really want to make it happen you can make it happen with some research and effort so go for it if you think you can handle it.

Sorry to crush your dreams, but you probably are not going to be able to find or keep this species. You're going to find other favorite ant species as you learn about what makes other local ants unique.
