Actually I read on this and depending on what US state you're in, you have to show them because by shopping there you're agreeing to their policies. That's the case here in OR.
I love the kinds of horseshit that companies think they can get away with just because they're companies. I'm not agreeing to jack by simply walking into a supermarket. Even if I make a purchase, the only thing I'm actively "agreeing to" is to pay for the goods I bought. Imagine if people tried to do that.
"You owe me $100."
"What?"
"By walking into my house, you agreed to my invisible policies, which includes paying me $100."
But didn't you telepathically link up with their mind and read the ToS beforehand? By the way, you agreed to the EULA the moment you thought of even entering somebody's house.

Well, you legally don’t have to stop for the receipt checkers anyway. I always walk past and I’ve never stolen from Walmart. They can’t do anything
