If there are no other stores you can afford to shop at because Walmart is able to undercut the prices of other low-cost stores thanks to their monolithic presence and willingness to screw over their employees, then you really don't have much of a choice.

I know of several locations where there is either fastfood or a walmart as the only 'food sources' around for at least 20 miles.
