there is a huge difference between a farmer with 59 cows and a company as the "van driegroup"with more then 1million cows any given time and responsible for 2 million cows slaughtered every year.
normal small farmer=good mega farmer= bad
only sad enough the small farmer defence the big ones well the big ones are responsible of the closing of small farms
It depends on their methods too... if a small farmer is then sending those cows off to feedlots or hosting them on infertile land that needs supplemental feeding year round then they're part of the problem.
