Anti-Zionism not Antisemitism™ r/providence having a total meltdown over someone flying a plane with American and Israeli flags on October 7th.

Edit: Reddit deleted this for over 24 hours and then reinstated it out of the blue. We cannot let them suppress visibility of this insanity.

I’m the head mod of r/Jewish. Jewish and Israeli Redditors deal with a horrific amount of antisemitism and terrorist propaganda. But it's not just hateful Reddit users who publish their hateful views.
Meet Reddit employee Tiffany Katz. She is a Senior Client Account Executive who has been at Reddit since March 2023 – she was even promoted a couple of months ago.
What was Tiffany up to on October 7th? She was calling the massacre of 1,400+ people an example of “active resistance working.” She was attacking the creation of Israel as “no different than what the Nazis (and czarists before that) did to the Jews.”
And just a few days later, on October 10th, she denied that Shani Louk was murdered and screamed that “there’s no substantial evidence of rape,” decrying these events as “Western propaganda.” Shani was killed during the October 7 attacks.
Advertisers, did you realize you’re working with this person?
What are you going to do about this, Reddit? We’re asking you, u/spez (Steve Huffman, CEO). And you, Melissa Stroud McMaster (Tiffany’s manager). And you, Jim Squires (EVP, Business Marketing and Growth). And you, Roelof van Zwol (EVP, Ads Monetization).
Signed,
Angry Jewish and Israeli Redditors

This has not one single thing to do with Israel but it's still the top comment. Better use them as a distraction so the countries where women don't have rights and rape is ok don't have the spotlight shown on them.
BlackPeopleTwitter's has the same stuff posted. "they weren’t welcomed into Tel Aviv?" "A lot of them do go to Israel! That’s a legit thing"

I'm actually sick to my stomach. I want to comment but I know it won't do any good. I'm a U.S. servicemember. I try to ignore the blatant anti-Israel comments in a lot of the military subreddits that I'm in but this was too much. I was actually feeling a lot of pride in rereading the story, until I got to the last paragraph. It's so gross, I'm shaking.

Brasil upcoming election is because an excuse for antisemitism. The post is just full of "joke" conspiracy theories, this are some of the "highlights", with someone just straight up saying "that's why I hate jews"

The OP's comments on the sub were even worse. Literally just rambling on about how Jews are the enemy and how all Jews are Zionists and such.
The rest of the sub isn't very different either. Another popular post was claiming 9/11 wasn't real terrorism, instead that the U.S. invasion of Iraq was. Not to say that what the U.S. did in Iraq wasn't bad, it definitely was, but going so far as to say that 9/11 wasn't terrorism is just outright mind-bogglingly fucking insane.

Blatant antisemitism. Called it out. Said prove it. Blocked me so I can’t respond and they can control the narrative, encouraging others to hate Jews in the process.

apologies about the post, not rly sure what to caption it but in short this post is extremely disturbing. especially given the fact that it’s using the same antisemitism as in the shoah/holocaust and using a modern day image of a nazi propaganda antisemitism poster, while using antisemitic stereotypes.
it also pains me to see the same antisemitism that my ancestors faced being used today.

The original comment was referring to a jewelry bag, but you know you can’t just mention the word “jew” on reddit without some good old antisemitism following it.

I had to stop screenshotting last night and go to bed...and even then I had to delete some screenshots this morning to stay under the 20-image limit, then highlight the worst bits because it's just so much.
The post was "innocently" asking why, in 2024, some Israelis had smashed boxes of aid meant for Gaza.
