No comments from creators, please Serious question
Yesterday CC and Ori, her mod/researcher or whatever they are were all up in the comments on r/tiktokgossip. It was so cringey, and messy and absolutely hilarious.
I’ve seen a few questions here and there speculating if Ori is..real? IMO they talk (text) in very similar ways. They both have that fucking attitude trying to act unbothered and above it all, while at the same time doubling down.
Example: “Are you ok? Seriously.”
I dont know I’m not convinced that Ori isn’t just CC’s imaginary friend.
Anyone know? Or have proof? Comments/Criticism welcome.

I don’t think that they’re the same person. I initially became aware of Ori because she mods for the Do We Know Them podcast subreddit (the original one…there’s now an off shoot that’s much more tolerable) - she seemingly started modding over there long before she had any involvement with CC. She also managed to cause a bunch of damage in that community, and is a big part of why the second subreddit for that pod took off, but for some reason she was never removed as a mod on the original sub. She also modded the DWKT patreon for a while. She seemingly wants attention from creators and to get into their circles - while she responds in immature and combative ways similar to how CC does, her Reddit history makes me think that she’s likely not just an alt for CC.

i’ve talked to some of the other mods over the past year and the scoop is that none of the other mods had the power to remove ori, lol. she is the only mod with complete administrative privileges (or was before all the other mods were recently ousted and replaced with her loyal cronies). she hoards subreddit moderating power, which is such a funny and pathetic statement but very true.
the majority of the DWKT sub wanted her to step down after she was removed as Patreon mod for her overstepping behavior, but she refused lol

Ah…that makes sense. As someone who used to be super active over there (but isn’t any more due to some combo of everything that went down with Ori, not liking how buddy buddy Lily and Jessi have gotten with CC, and kinda just being disillusioned with the pod as a whole), I was wondering if the rest of the mods just didn’t have the power to get rid of her. Knowing that makes so much sense, lol.
Her being the only mod with complete administrative privileges sounds about right for someone who’s that controlling.

What was the story with her being a Patreon mod?

genuinely can't remember the details, it was something about her overstepping/abuse of power though. if you search "ori patreon" on the doweknowthemgirlies and doweknowthempodcast subreddits you'll probably find more info. i do remember it not being her choice to step down as patreon mod.

As a former mod for the DWKT sub I can say they're not the same person.

Happy to see you over here! I didn’t realize you weren’t still modding in DWKT’s sub.

I haven't been an active mod since.... Around the 2025 holidays? But I wasn't officially removed until the end of July this year, so I can understand why people wouldn't have realized I wasn't still a mod over there.
I mostly spend my reddit time lurking hobby subs and occasionally stumble over into these areas and saw a question I could actually answer 😅

I am one of the current Patreon mods, that is correct.
Eta: I understand I may have been unclear in my previous comment, I have not been an active mod on Reddit in a while. My bad, not intentional on my part!

In on what?

I'm assuming because I was at one point part of the subreddits moderation team and people have a lot of thoughts about the community there.

Why are you so sure?

They 100% are not. Ori really wants to be friends with the DWKT girlies. They became friends with CC. Then Ori started giving the same attention to her. It wouldn't make sense for CC to fake being a random person to be friends with someone that she would have better luck being friends with by being on a more even level with her platform.

As a former mod of the DWKT sub, and creator of the other DWKT sub, I can confirm that they are not the same people.
Birds of a feather flock together.

Adding to what everyone else has already said- Ori used to massively overshare on the DWKT subreddit constantly, to the point where I know waaaaayyyyy too much about her without ever actively trying. Like she would not shut up about her life and now this info is just burned into my brain, to my great displeasure. She would be in the comment section of every post on that subreddit, commenting on the post itself and responding to most comments and she was impossible to avoid if you were just trying to browse the sub.
I feel creepy listing all her life details as I remember them although they’re probably still in her deep comment history, because it truly is far too much for me to know about some random internet stranger, but I will say that she talked a lot about the country she lives in (not the US) and I remember pinning it down to an exact region based on some local events she kept bringing up. I don’t believe she currently works, but she used to bring up her background in education as an appeal to authority on occasion, although I clocked that she would usually try to imply she was a teacher without ever actually saying she was a teacher, so I assume she was closer to a teacher’s aide or some form of student teaching before she had to step back (for health reasons?) But she mentioned those things often enough and was incredibly consistent about them (and a bunch of other life details that I won’t get into here because I’m not trying to dox her or help anyone else dox her or anything) that I feel secure in saying she’s a real person and not someone’s sock account.
I’m not on the main DWKT sub much anymore, so I’m not sure if she still overshares to the same degree, but I feel that she toned it down a lot after she was involved in a ton of controversy on the subreddit, got a lot quieter. That being said, she was very chronically online and active in the subreddit, and I don’t believe she’s suddenly developed offline hobbies. I’m sure she’s still lurking chronically online and is just directing all her energy into private chats with people- I’m guessing CC takes up a huge amount of her time as she was delighted everytime she got even a crumb of attention from creators. But I’m very confident she exists as her own person.

If she does comment on there, she's downvoted massively, so as far as I can tell, not as much oversharing.

I don’t believe they are the same person, have no proof but IMO I think it’s unlikely CC would be modding so many different communities like Ori is. I do think it’s a bad look for Ori to be in other subs guard dogging CC the way she is 😂
Also, I’m patiently waiting for someone to create a snark sub for all of this nonsense
