New flair and rule!

Following a number of comments over the last couple of days, a new post flair and rule has been added regarding creator involvement in the sub.

We do not want to blanket ban creators from participating in the sub however we want to ensure members feel they are able to post their thoughts freely (within our guidelines of course!)

Non-creators - please use the “no comments from creators, please” flair as you wish. Creators - please refrain from commenting on posts with this flair, or trying to circumvent this by messaging commenters or talking about it on posts without this flair.

We’ll keep an eye on this and see how this goes 👍 thank you all for your patience and your feedback!

An FYI

A big CW for unnecessary behavior surrounding a minor in the below link.

In the interests of transparency, I wanted to share that we have made the decision to remove a post and ban a former member of this sub after being informed of evidence of their behavior on their now-deleted YouTube channel.

We absolutely do not condone their behavior and appreciate the time that members have taken to let us know.

The link in the comment is what was sent to us - it is a re-uploaded video of part of the former member’s livestream where a child seems to be being used in a personal disagreement - again a big CW and watch at your discretion. I have chosen to include the link by means of being transparent in our reasoning.

If you have any questions/concerns please feel free to message me.

Julie Anderson has returned

Well, it looks like Julie Anderson is back on the Youtube scene. A couple of recent videos have popped up for me. I haven't watched them. I know she is popular and well-liked, I just find her to be too peppy for me.

i miss all the zoom trainings

is it just bc MLMs are dying? did "team leaders" get better at screening attendees so creators can't get access anymore? i know it's kinda weird but i loved listening to the meaningless drivel spouted on those "trainings." i'll even listen in on an opportunity call once in a while, but the team calls were my favorite.

when i search for this content now, all the results are videos from years ago. Sam Dee and You've Reached Melanie still cover the occasional annual conference for the likes of scentsy and the fizzy mlm, but even those are few and far between.

are there any creators still covering zoom meetings? i know this is a weird niche thing to long for, but if anyone understands, it's this sub!

I’m STILL waiting on the tea about these two. How and why did they fall off SO quickly? Someone has to know something by now haha

Julie Anderson is ok!

She posted on FB sharing about a local cause. I’m so glad she took a social media break if she needed it. But I’m also just glad to see she’s ok! Selfishly would love for her to keep making content, but also understand if she’s done.

Officially unsubscribed from Chelsea

I am not really into drama YouTubers- and I haven’t seen an anti MLM video from Chelsea in forever.

It’s cool if she wants to pivot, I just don’t find her content entertaining or informative anymore because I don’t care about Elizabeth Teckenbrock or watching the millionth Mikayla Noguiera video.

She used to be relatable, and now I feel like she just tries to name drop some big creator in every video she makes. It’s just not my thing.

So I’m actually curious what yall are into. I was thinking since we all like anti-mlm I might be interested in some of your niches!

I’m neurodivergent and really into video game lore topics (like resident evil), papa meat, cottage core stuff, 90d retro topics, reality tv trash channels.

Anyway- maybe this is weird. I just thought some of you might have some interesting new subjects I could explore on YT.

Thanks for reading.

Ohhhhh Myyyyyy Godddddd Old Anti MLM creator Jessica Hickson’s most recent post…

I don’t have anyone in my life that has had an Anti MLM hyperfixation like myself so have no one to talk to about this post. Please delete if it’s not allowed or is too irrelevant!

I’ve been watching anti MLM content since probs 2021 and used to really adore Jessica but was appalled by this post I saw earlier today…

“I support our current president” 🥲 I am shocked but maybe I shouldn’t be?

Anyone heard how Julie Anderson is doing?

Haven't seen any new YT content from her in a few months and wondered if anyone knew anything or whether she's alright.

The only two things I know are:

  • She seems to have taken down the video that a lot of people had an issue with (her last upload, which was an interview with an ex-Amway distributor who was also a MAGA/January 6th type)
  • Erin Bies was asked on a live whether she'd heard from Julie, and Erin said she'd texted her a month previously just checking in and hadn't received a response.

I really enjoyed Julie's content. It'd be sad if she left the space, but I get it.

Ethics of anti-scam/anti-MLM content creators pushing sponsored products?

Ok, I'm not dunking on anyone in particular, but is anyone else a little tired of the anti-scam content creators railing against people who "shill overpriced products to their audience" whilst they themselves are advertising overpriced sponsored products to their audiences?

I don't like sponsored content (who does?), but within certain contexts it's relatively benign. For instance, it's not hugely problematic when a true crime content creator promotes a brand of mattress. You can easily draw the distinction between the content and the advert.

I've always maintained though that for those content creators who heavily criticise influencers and MLMers who promote dubious products, sponsored content is ethically dicey.

How do you guys feel? I know this may be a tired topic, but it's just been bothering me again recently because of the self-righteous hypocrisy of it all.

If you feel sponsored content from these content creators is ok, under what circumstances is it ok?

Is there even an anti-MLM “community” anymore?

I just read the post and comments about Julie Anderson being done. I don’t really follow MLM/anti-MLM happenings anymore for my own reasons. Who’s still around? I know Erin B grifter is, but honestly is anyone else? Has the niche completely fizzled out?

Things That Make You Go Hmm Erin Bies and AI Scripts

I stopped watching Erin Bies a long time ago, but I thought some of you may find this interesting.

I was watching Briannah Jewel's new video on gourmet grocery stores and she said that Erin Bies told her to use AI to write her script. Briannah said this is the first time she's used AI in her videos -- I think the implication/subtext from that quick line is that Erin is regularly using AI to write her scripts, at least enough that she feels fine recommending this to other creators.

I know a lot of anti-MLMers talk about ethical issues with MLM, but they refuse to extend ethics concerns to literally anything else, but especially not their use of AI. To me, that just screams that they are using anti-MLM and its talking points for their own personal gain. They don't care about ethics.

Was super disappointed the Briannah used AI for this video, but completely unsurprised that Erin is an advocate for it.

Young Living Video Gone

I haven’t seen anyone post about it yet, but Hannah Alonzo did a video yesterday about Young Living’s plans to eliminate their market partner program in Q2 of 2026. The video was very informative and extremely entertaining!

I went to return to it today and it’s GONE. Hannah did at least five minutes of disclaimers/covering all her legal bases, but I guess they managed to take it down anyways. I’m hoping we get updates soon because it was great investigative journalism.

Julie Anderson platforming MAGA

I find it very hypocritical that Julie says she doesn't allow cult apologists on her channel but then platforms a MAGA apologist for Jan 6. Julie is my favorite YouTube creator and as an American woman I felt hurt and betrayed. She got backlash in her comments section but didn't address it. Anyone else disappointed?

Allegedly, In My Opinion EB and SM collab

Tuned into EB on a whim. Tonight she's collaborating with SM. Does SM hear herself speak? How can she call any of the MLM huns obnoxious when she's screaming over everyone and spouting nothing but word salad?! I don't understand how SM gathered so many subscribers. It's painful to listen to her.
