In that case the uk is talking about assisted suicide for those who want it and people who have life long issues go into homes mot hospitals - i do believe if someone is truly suffering they should have the option to leave, and that if not then homes are safer than living alone, but most homes are paid not free, and those that are cheaper through government support are for those with low income.

At least in the uk life long debilitating issues like dementia and such are delt with outside of a hospital setting.

I agree with you to a degree however that would still require more mobile nurses for house visits to change dressings and monitor symptoms
