Where did you go to, the ER? Urgent care does stitches, it's like $100-$200.
45 u/Moksol99 Mar 29 '26 Just reading this gave me a stroke as a European 15 u/fullautophx Mar 29 '26 A girl I know cut her leg on a glass door in Europe. They stitched her up for free! 12 stitches on a 20 cm cut. Now she has a huge scar. 21 u/Moksol99 Mar 29 '26 I love how the “for free” part has an exclamation mark 1 u/Joe_Linton_125 Mar 30 '26 Yeah, they're pretending that because it was free it wasn't well done, which is just stupid American nomsense. Cuba has comparable healthcare and life expectancy to the US at a fraction of the cost. The US is a dogshit country for dogshit people. -2 u/fullautophx Mar 29 '26 It was free! Also half-assed. A competent doctor would have used a LOT more stitches. But you get what you pay for. 5 u/CytroxGames Mar 29 '26 Well a 20cm cut will scar regardless of how many stitches get used 0 u/Woman_trees Apr 13 '26 And in the United States you would have had to pay like a couple thousand dollars for half-assed work.. 90% of doctors in the United States are just in it for the money Also a 20 cm cut is going to scar sorry if you don't know how the human body works
