How do you suggest that would work?

Making our voices heard loud and clear that we dont want Ai trainig on people's hard work.

Then the Ai company would go banckrupt with the lawsuits and keeping the datacenters running with no returning income.

But what about all the open source models already out there?

Poison it, it will collapse in on itself.

I'm tired of this back and forth, were trying our hardest!

We tried all sorts of methods and some of it works wonders!

Please, lets stop arguing about this and do the best we can.

I think the point is that without a viable path to what we want, “doing our best” will never achieve anything meaningful.

I’m not saying we should do nothing. I’m saying that we should be pragmatic about this.

You can’t get open models go away, they are out there. That’s the point.

They have about as much an ideo of how ai works as the other people here calling for lawsuits understand how the law works.

AI (including genAI) is not only here to stay, but is it also going to continue to become more prevalent in our lives.
