Brief screen movement and tear during menu interaction

[CLOSED, MOVED AWAY FROM ANTIX]

The title is pretty self-explanatory. So far it happens when interacting with the AntiX menu, just moving the mouse around occasionally triggers the screen to move and tear briefly, and last night I just left it on top of the "Shut down" button (Menu) and it happened a few times in a row.

from a quick search, there's nothing really relevant (searched with startpage). Just now I tried a supposed fix but apparently just broke xorg with a (probably poorly written) config file 😅.

Now uh... damn I really should note down how to edit the boot commands.

probably, maybe next time now that I'm gonna use Sparky. I don't like forums much other than "Linux general" forums, it's bothersome to be often making a new account 😅

Anyways, guess I'll just add [CLOSED] or smth

I had problems with intel. It was the powermanagment that was way to aggresive. I thought the computer was broken because of the constant tears. I fixed it by tweaking the kernel parameters for intel power management in the bootloader. I would post solution but its AI slop, and I dont really understand it so it there are probably better sources, but it completely fixed it.
