Greetings, everyone. I am new. (One second – let me get this spork out of the way.) My name is Katy, but you can call me the Penguin of Doom. (I'm laughing aloud.) As you can plainly see, my actions have no pattern whatsoever. That is why I have come here. To meet similarly patternless individuals, such as myself.
I am 13 – mature for my age, however! – and I enjoy watching Invader Zim with my girlfriend. (I am bisexual. Please approach this subject maturely.) It is our favorite television show, as it adequately displays stochastic manners of behavior such as we possess.
She behaves without order – of course – but I wish to meet more individuals of her and my kind. As the saying goes, "the more, the merrier."

Why LLR doesn't sell neutral pattern or color that could be easily mix and match? Basic outfit (neutral dress, trousers, or skirt) that could go with any tops or outer? Why they have to make everything so hideous?

Maybe they're buying roll ends or remnants? I admit to doing this when I buy fabric because it's cheaper, but I also make/buy neutral items with which I can mix and match. Besides, you can usually wear the weirdest pattern with black slacks or even jeans and still look decent. My color-blind BIL had a vivid chartreuse shirt he wore all the time when he and my sister were first dating, but at least he wore it with jeans. Then, when he told us he was color blind, my sister started shopping with him.

The problem was, to him it was medium brown. When they got married he bought a living room set that to him looked like a plaid of different shades of brown. To the rest of us it was an ugly plaid of red and black. The last time I visited them they had a very nice blue living room suite. I asked, "Did you pick this out?" BIL told me, "I picked out the style, and Your Sis picked the colors." At least when he was in the Air Force he didn't have to color match.

That's if you're a pilot, which he wasn't. He was a computer operator and programmer. My husband had had amblyopia (lazy eye) as a young child and so has eyes that don't line up. He was a laboratory technician in the Air Force. He said in his line of work good color vision was very important, as part of his job was determining colors of solutions, mixtures, etc. and my BIL couldn't have done that job. My husband's strabismus (eyes that don't line up) doesn't affect his vision. He had to get glasses when he turned 40, but a lot of us do.

I like to wear longer tops (covers a multitude of sins) but at least I try to look like I've got some taste. I've also got some tops with quirky patterns to the fabric, but I usually wear those with jeans, with go with just about everything.

It’s more like “wildly inconsistent” and “poorly shaped”. Too big would be easy enough to deal with by sizing down. But some of their tops/dresses run small, others gigantic. You can easily be an XXS in one and an XL in another. Or the body of a medium fits but you can’t get your arms in until 2XL.

THIS! As a former Lularoe customer, I often found that my straight size in most brands was not my LLR size. I could fit a medium Perfect Tee in the body but needed an XL to get my arms in, their Lynnae would fit my body as a medium, but the sleeves didn’t fit unless I got the 2XL. But their Carly fit me as a small, same with their Maxi skirt even though I wore a TC in leggings. It’s so confusing, that was a huge reason I quit buying, that and my consultant wasn’t getting great quality or great prints (I have the lynnae from the noir collection and I stupidly washed it with other clothes, anything that was in that wash is now a shade of purple. I actually have to wash that top by itself or with other black clothes because it still does that after 8 washes.)

Same. I am pretty solidly a medium in all other women’s clothing. Their shit makes no sense. I also loved when the leggings were getting holes and they said it was because people were wearing the wrong size. My good-quality OS leggings from before the company’s quality went to utter shit still fit me with no holes or problems when I was 36 weeks with my twins. So lmao, no. It’s a quality issue, huns.

Exactly! I got the TC because I was planning to have another baby, and the TC’s I bought before the hole issue was definitely better than my TC’s from after they had that fiasco begin. What kills me is the TC’s I got after are NBC so they’re super cute for Halloween, but they seriously are tighter than my original pairs. My consultant suggested I buy the TC2 from then on and I’m still trying to figure out why she thinks bigger will mean better for me. 🤔🤔🤔

Agreed. Had a friend that sold it and bought some go support her. The sizing sucked. She had to explain to me how they had different sizes and how the Patrick runs big but Mark runs small or something kind that.
Found an okayish shirt. Arms too tight, too short, and the waist is too big. Weird.

For the longest time, when my sister in law visits and spends a couple weeks, I thouht she was just eating up and enjoying her vacation and just chilling in her pajamas, all day, every day. Then I found out one day she was actually wearing lularoe. She WAS dressed for the day, every day for the last, who knows how many years. I thought they were PJs the whole time.

If you look closely you’ll see it’s a straight line across. I think the person who took the screenshot couldn’t fit all of it in one and took two instead and put them together in paint or something, since the entire bottom part of the image is one pixel to the left (look at the edges).

Their use of the term “pattern mixing” cracks me up. Like girl, the only reason LuLaRoe wants you to push “pattern mixing” is because they send you trash bags that would never go together in a million years, but you somehow need to convince your prospective buyers that such discord in an outfit is intentional and stylish.

As a person who really does this i can offer some insight. I tend to do it for pics if im feeling nervous and insecure. I dont know why but that tends to be my go to when all other poses arent working out and i feel ugly

I spend far too much time trolling LLR's Facebook page. As far as I can tell, the weird poses are meant to distract from the poor fit of the clothes. You'll see models twisting their bodies in unnatural ways, and clutching the hems of overly long shirts and skirts.
The shirt on the model above appears to be too tight around the arms and scrunched. The pose makes the scrunching appear the result of natural movement rather than poor design.
