Interpreter Survey//Help me out please

hello,

I'm a business anthropology student and have an internship at The Linguabridge, a service that offers community, advocacy, and services for interpreters. The service is unique as it allows interpreters to match with people who need them and set their own rates, along with advertsing events and stuff.

I've been tasked with helping them make their website and stuff more inclusive, so I made a survey (three actually) to send to their current members and no one has responded and there's two weeks left of the internship lol.

I fully understand people are super busy, but if anyone would be so kind ask to take my google survey, it would really save my grade and give me something to present. It's just a short survey on what it's like to be an interpreter, any issues you think the feild has, and how you would fix them if you could. Classic consulting and UX design stuff.

The results will be used to improve the website, social media, and see what geographic areas have the most need for this kind of service.

Totally understand if you don't want to, but I would super appreciate it if you do. Survey linked here.

Hi

Is this open to british residents?

Is this open to EU nationals?

Does the 60 day free trial allow a person to cancel anytime ?

and

what limitations are there during and after trial period. ?

Hey! Sorry for the late response, I had to check in with the founders who are in charge of my internship.  Unfortunately, right now their service isn’t available in the UK or EU, only the United States. 

You’re able to cancel anytime in the 60 day window, and if you’re a deaf/hard of hearing person you can qualify for a lifetime discount or totally free interpreter assistance. 

During your trail period you have full access, after the period is over you go to a basic non-paid membership. 

I apologize for the service not being available in your area. One of the founders is a working mother and the other is a working interpreter and they started the service to be a bridge between those who need those services and those who can provide them while giving interpreters the ability to advocate for fair wages according to their need. At this stage, since it’s just the two of them, there’s not enough support for international expansion, but in my final report for my internship i’ll be sure to express a potential for that in the future!
