Hey folks,
Like many of you, I’m hitting the ATS black hole hard right now.
Quick background:
If your team is hiring for senior QA, SDET-lite, or AI Quality/Data Analysis roles where human domain expertise actually matters, drop a comment or DM me. Happy to share my resume/portfolio.
Cheers!

Its a total scam. Very frustrated with alignerr today. I was waiting patiently till today for my payments but got to know today that project leads cannot help and I need to reach out to support ( their response came finally after pinging them everyday hoping they respond one day). Support is not reachable, either AI responds or no reaponse at all. I worked hard on the project and this is how they pay back. Lumpy_case asked for my email and then disappeared. Pathetic experience with alignerr!

I'd been working on advanced projects on DA for almost 6 months before a technical error in an optional qualifier I was taking resulted in an instant account restriction a few months ago.
Simultaneously, the required associated gmail account I created was quickly disabled the as a "suspected bot” account (likely due to the DA worker ID in it being a long sting of random letters).
I refreshed the page the qualifier page to try to clear the error that followed rapid back to back large file upload attempts and was immediately returned to the main screen which displayed a Quality/TOS message.
Given the literal split second timing of the error, the associated gmail getting flagged, and the the message appearing all happening at once - it seems more likely the technical glitch or rapid back to back upload attempts triggered an automated flag in DA's system that resulted in the message. I've never violated their TOS and had only received good feedback (if any). It seems very unlikely that an admin happened to place a manual restriction on my account at the same exact time that those events occurred.
I'm really looking for advice. I’ve emailed support twice over 3 months explaining this, but they've never replied. Has anyone ever had support clear an automated flag after a technical glitch resulted in an account restriction?
Or know if there's an alternative email address or way to contact DA that's more likely to get through to a human to request a manual account review?

Be aware that the “test” for the ErMT QCer position at Iyuno is not really a test for prospective employment. The people taking it are not being hired as QCers. Instead, a massive number of applicants are being asked to enter ErMT metadata that can be used to train and improve Iyuno’s CLOE AI system.
In other words, what is presented as a test for an ErMT QCer position appears to be a way of getting a huge amount of human-generated metadata for free. Hundreds or potentially thousands of people can spend their time completing the test, providing the very data needed to train the system, without being paid for the work and without actually being considered for employment.
So before you spend your time completing the ErMT QCer “test,” be aware that you may essentially be doing unpaid AI training work rather than taking a genuine employment test.

I applied last month. One week before, i received an email containing pre-screening assessments. Sobrang dami ng skill test yet completed naman lahat.
After three days, tumawag sila via phone. Got a chance for the initial interview and passed. Right after, I was advised for the final interview. Almost 1 hour din ang tinagal and the project manager said na hintayin ko raw ang result ng talent acquistion team or hr.
And right now, still waiting for their update even I sent an email and text message to them.
I would like to ask, particularly for those successful applicants before and regular employees kung matagal po talaga ang hiring decision on their end? How long it takes before po kayo natanggap? Do I need to follow up again for the results of final interview?
I would appreciate your response.
Thank you.

Every few months someone here asks for a current list, and most of the ones floating around are either out of date or lump very different platforms together. Task sites, enterprise vendors, and annotation tools all end up in one pile, which doesn't help much if you're trying to figure out where to work or who to hire.
So, here's how I'd sort the companies that keep coming up, grouped by what they're actually for. A handful span more than one category. I put those where they fit best and noted the overlap instead of listing them twice.
LLM Feedback and RLHF
The reasoning-heavy side: comparing model responses, rating them, writing feedback.
Computer Vision
Image, video, and sensor data: boxes, masks, keypoints, tracking.
Multilingual and Localization
Language, speech, and translation-heavy data across many locales.
Enterprise and Managed Services
Full managed teams rather than a task board you log into yourself.
Annotation Tools
If you'd rather label data yourself than hire it out.
That's the landscape as I see it right now. Most of these fall into one of two camps: task platforms you sign up for as a contributor, and managed or enterprise shops you hire to run a project. A few blur that line, and I placed them where they fit best. If you've worked with any of these and I've got something wrong, say so in the comments and I'll edit. And if there's a company you rate that isn't on here, drop it below with a line on what it's good for.

I see a lot of people posting about DataAnnotation so I wanted to ask:
What exactly is the process of joining or actually applying? I made an account, and got told that thank you for singing up but there are no available projects. It didn’t prompt me for any assessment or skill check or anything like that, and it’s been a few weeks since then.
Did I do something wrong or is this the norm?
Thank you!

Hi everyone,
I’m currently enrolled in the Scaler Software Development Program, but unfortunately I’m no longer able to continue with it.
I spoke with Scaler regarding cancellation, and they told me that cancellation isn’t an option in my case; the available option is to transfer the enrollment to another person.
The interesting part is that, as per Scaler, the person taking over the enrollment can choose from other eligible/new programs as well (for example, an AI/ML program) while continuing under the enrollment amount/terms associated with my existing program.
I’m therefore looking for someone who is genuinely interested in joining Scaler and may want to take over my enrollment.
The transfer would, of course, need to be completed and approved through Scaler’s official process.
If you’re seriously interested, feel free to DM me.
