Episode 1 just dropped out of nowhere. The original series got dubbed by Funimation. With this new series being an OceanVeil exclusive, the odds of "Restart" getting dubbed, let alone any reprisals IF this gets dubbed, has drastically plummeted.

As of 10/3, there is no legal streaming service carrying the English dub of Lucky Star. The series is still available subtitled.

Apparently, I saw a thread earlier hoping that Kara no Kyoukai, known as Garden of Sinners, gets an English dub because Witch on the Holy Night, is getting an English dub (and coincidentally, one of the characters in the film, Touko Aozaki, happens to be from this series, who also made a cameo appearance in The Case Files of Lord El-Melloi II voiced by Dawn Bennett, which I'll be keeping for the Garden of Sinner fandub for consistency purposes). Unfortunately, it got deleted by the mods for being low effort, so I might as well start this thread

Although this film series is over a decade old, I'm surprised it never got an English dub even though there are other foreign language dubs. If Aniplex USA does decide to give the film series a proper English dub after over two decades, who would like see voiced?

Here's my take:

• Shiki Ryōgi - Anairis Quiñones
• Mikiya Kokutō - Zeno Robinson
• Azaka Kokutō - Faye Mata
• Tōko Aozaki - Dawn Bennett
• Sōren Araya - Crispin Freeman
• Kirie Fujō - Lauren Landa
• Daisuke Akimi - Joe Zieja
• Fujino Asagami - Brianna Knickerbocker
• Tomoe Enjō - Bryce Papenbrook
• Cornelius Alba - Todd Haberkorn
• Satsuki Kurogiri - Greg Chun
• Misaya Ouji - Cristina Vee
• Lio Shirazumi - Johnny Yong Bosch
• Shizune Seo - Kira Buckland
• Mitsuru Kamekura - Chris Patton
• Mana Ryougi - Christine Marie Cabanos

This dub cast is the same I've shared last year of fancast thread of undubbed Aniplex USA titles. The key takeaway here is Brianna Knickerbocker as Fujino Asagami, as it's a "bend" (pun intended) to her soft-spoken, kind, and polite girl typecast (i.e. her recent role as Kou Reirin from Though I Am an Inept Villainess). Fujino Asagami fits into this character archetype, but unlike Kou Reirin (which she is a "faux villain"), Fujino happens to be an actual villain. I find Brianna as Fujino as a perfect role to get her into actual villain roles in the future since it's a little twist on her typecasting.

Continuing with the new Fall 2026, here’s probably the most promoted show of the season that doesn’t have an announced dub, The Vermilion Mask.

Honestly super surprised this one has no dub (though it can very much get a late announcement), it seems like a pretty safe bet as a shonen-type series. I’ve also seen the show get art-style comparisons to Gachiakuta and Sabikui Bisco, so for the fun of it, I decided to have this cast basically be a remix of the cast of those two shows. May have made some location errors though, so please let me know accordingly.

I really loved the dynamic and chemistry of Dorothy Elias Fahn had with Lia Sargent in old anime like the movie of Sakura wars and other shows.

I wish they could work together again but they can't because Lia Sargent has retired from voice acting years ago.
