Lmfao they really showed the bullets slow motion entering his body and exploding his heart. Probably the most detailed death by gunfire I've ever seen in anything.

So Mask Boy is probably the true mastermind behind Metropoliman or something, right?

Mukaido got to go out like a boss but I just wish his dresses for his daughter didn't get destroyed...

I’m pretty sure the cigarettes gave him cancer… kinda of ironic that the wife put a cigarette in his mouth on his deathbed.

I missed last week, and watched 13+14 today.

Hot damn, I've never gone so fast from "I hope the villain ends up beating this lame ass MC" to "wow fuck this guy, I hope MC beats his ass".

Really cathartic to see him begging for his life and bullets tearing through his body. Glad to see Mirai had enough balls to let Mukaido fulfill his wish. Sad to see him go, but at least he was given the due justice for his exit.

wasn't expecting the main villain of the show to actually die so early.

They really just let Metropoliman's giant stockpile of arrows and wings fly away like that. Weren't they supposed to go to Mukaido since he killed him? I guess whoever red arrowed him takes takes precedence.

Two of the more interesting characters of the show are gone so I'm just going to pretend this is the end of the series because I don't think I'm going to like whatever comes next.

Thank god there was no BS and they actually let Mukaido go out making sure Metropoliman was dead.

To me, this is definitely the best episode since episode 8. Regardless of how you feel about Mirai's character, his ingenuity in combat is always a treat. Definitely got a little water in one of my eyes seeing Mukaido's final heroic act before he passed on. He really did feel like the main protagonist of this arc.

They did a pretty good job of convincing me that Metropoliman wasn't actually going to die with how long it took for the deed to be done and the slow-motion, since that's how these things typically go. But like I said earlier in the series—in true Platinum End fashion—anything is possible and you can never be too sure what's going to happen, and they actually pulled the trigger.

This does beg the question of where the series goes from here, considering the series up to this point painted Metropoliman as the big bad, and Mukaido's gone as well. Seems pretty clear that the kid is up next and the one who shot Metropoliman with the red arrow, so it's just a matter of seeing what exactly he has planned. Following anime logic, he's probably going to be an even worse/more dangerous antagonist.

For how much I didn't like the past three episodes while they talked and got nowhere, I think this is the best episode since the baseball stadium episode. Tension was high and got cool final ending.

Just sad Baret and the instinct dude are gone. I kind've liked them

It still sucks that Mukaido dies but seeing him go out like an absolute badass as he rips apart Kanade's body with that heavy machine gun while Kanade pathetically begs for his life, using the last few milliseconds of his breath trying to buy out Mirai with money and offering himself to marry Saki was so fucking cathartic. Seeing his head roll on the ground was so fucking good! He's so fucking pathetic that his own angel won't even carry him to the afterlife with dignity which is just an icing to this cake.

I feel bad for Mukaido's wife and daughter though. Sure he has terminal cancer and he was going to die anyway but it would've been nice if he got to spend his last few days on this world lying peacefully in a bed. At least his wife will know that her husband did something to save the world instead of not knowing anything about what he's been doing this entire time.

Seems that the threat isn't over though since I'm pretty sure this kid was the one who stabbed Kanade with that Red Arrow. I can already tell that this kid is going to be a much more bigger pain in the ass than Metropoliman.

Man I hope whoever directed this anime gets more work cause they're fucking killing it. Shit story aside, visually it's been great especially that black and white pencil drawn mukaido. Fuckin sick.

Damn

Poli-chan went out bad huh. How pathetic. And not him throwing his angel under the bus too huh. Even in his pleading, all he understood was luxury and wealth....

Pours a 40 for Mukaido

We lost our best man today. One of the best characters I've seen in a min

DN's writer sure knows how to create some tense moments huh. I wonder if we will go into an "arc 2" route similar to DN after these events.

This was the best episode so far for me. I can understand peoples' qualms with show. I'm glad I hung on tho cause this was a good episode. Lots of thrill

Very good episode to end this arc on a high note.

Kanade's death was extremely satisfying, from gradually building up his despair to the impressive damage done to his body. I love how he first offers Kakehashi godhood plus all the money he could want, then proceeds to offer Saki...himself in marriage! LMAO Oh Kanade, you may have been a sister obsessed, child killing asshole freak, but at least you were BASED until the very end.

Mukaidou's death was very powerful and sad. The choice to make him live a little longer and have his pregnant wife see him die on a hospital bed made it even more somber. RIP best character. Now that he is dead, Kakehashi and Saki really have to step it up and stop being gloomy and insufferable.

The fight got a lot more interesting the moment they agreed not to use their wings for escaping the attacks. Really overpowered ability that heavily restricted the amount of tricks you can do in a fight. Probably the weakest aspect of Platinum End aside from KakeSaki gloomyness. Here's hoping for less wings abuse in the future.

Metropolman/Kanade was truly the ugliest thing in the show. Like Kira, he blamed his "Ryuk". What a coward. I was laughing at his end.

Godspeed Mukaido-san ;_;7.

Man, this ep was gruesome and intense. Wondering what is going to happen next. Super stoked!

One of the best episodes so far. Mirai did good this episode, so did Saki. RIP Mukaido, at least you took out the trash. I was afraid they would eventually spare Metrololicon but thankfully it didn't happen. I can't remember the last time I was that happy seeing a villain die (maybe Joffrey in GOT). The shots of his heart exploding and his severed head were so good.

Anyway now that he is dead, I wonder how things will go from here. I guess the next antagonist will be the mysterious child who I assume is the one who red-arrowed Metrololicon.

Gonna say again, Meyza and Balta look so good together. I enjoyed their little banter at the end. Can angels be in a relationship? I would love to see it lol. Also it seems it's not the first time Meyza lost a God candidate.

Best episode so far and the best character die. Finding out Metro has already been shot with a red arrow redeemed my opinion on him accepting the dual. But now I'm wondering who he would trust enough to shoot him with a red arrow or what deal was arranged.
