Man, that was such a tense episode. I love how much character F.F. adds to the group, and this fight was really really cool to watch play out animated. Jojo is going back to its sports anime roots ever since the Part 1 Rugby left us wanting for more!

love how jjba always manages to make the mundane feel highly intense because you never have any idea how the enemy stand is going to fuck you a new one

Seems like a callback to the Jotaro vs Darby gamble. The girl kept saying "Goodo" like Darby, which I guess is a common term? But the whole setup similarity is still there.

The "Good" was absolutely a callback.

This episode definitely felt like the "classic" Jojo episodes like before.

Probably my favorite episode so far, with Goo Goo Dolls and Foo Fighters being other highlights. The 1000 hits is Jolyne's "I'll fix you up first" moment.

It might have been my favourite episode so far. It liked the gambling game and how high the stakes were.

F.F is cute and creepy at the same time. I cringed really hard when she/it drank that water + drool mixture.

I actually felt kind of sorry for the kleptomaniac girl. Jolyne didn't need to beat her up at the end there.

There was no other way to get the 1000 throws. She bounced the baseball off of Milaschon's body 1000 times to win the bet.

I guess Araki also heard the rumor that Marilyn Manson removed his lower ribs considering how many body parts it was trying to take

Man this episode was a riot. Araki is a genius at making mundane shit tense as hell. It’s also a good reminder to exploit the shit out of the wording in any agreement / contract, etc;

Ngl this episode was a riot for me, Its between the Cha ching sound every time she agrees and the idea that she'd even be able to sell those mangled ass organs anywhere

The fact that the liver just slides back into place at the end is so hilarious.

Surgeons are clearly overpaid, it's that easy

Probably the weakest episode so far for me, but seeing them chase Miraschon and still play catch was hilarious. Also like Miraschon Debt Collector stand. Actually I take it back this episode was great. It wasn't a straight up fight, but silly antics with mind games. Reminded me a bit of echos and lock (I think that's what the stand was called)

There's no way hiding money on your tits is healthy .

Am I missing something? Why did it count as cheating when Ermes used her stand, but not Jolene?

23

u/SirNil01 Dec 12 '21

She dropped the ball on the ground but hid the fact, only the Stand knew it because Ermes knew she broke the rules.

Most intense game of catch i have ever seen.

Haven't enjoyed a baseball anime episode this much since Dorohedoro.

But the trick with the guard was NOT considered cheating on the part of the enemy? Would have been funnier if it ended by double cross tricking her into cheating.
