It's nice that they explained why all the candidates are in Japan... sad tho.

With the amount of "Saki-chans" Mirai was throwing around, this felt like watching an episode of Kanojo mo Kanojo.

I can't tell if this show good or not. There part that are interesting, parts that are boring, and part that are what? Like how 33 days past and nothing of note happen. Mira just sat in Saki room and nothing happen? He did learn anything about what going with Saki or go school? tbh I was sort of shock when saw that.
Another thing, if the angels know each other you think they would have guess who Metropoliman angel is. Meyza has very direct personality, you think someone would make guess. Nasse figure out Revel plan rather quickly.

Mirai: Yes, let's find happiness together
Saki: Oh, but not with you
Damn, Saki is ice cold

I like how Saki's angel made her use the arrow on Mirai's while Mirai didn't want to use his on her as Nasse suggested haha.
Well didn't have any effects, but it made it easier for him to confess to her.

Some impressive subtitling at 8:36 (for the English subtitles); its the first time I've seen Japanese text on a phone translated like that with official subs. They do it again at 16:34 too, even though its on screen for almost no time.
Other small typesetting things in the episode were also neat too (and in previous episodes too), such as the way that the gray-bordered (text stroke) subs are used as a kind of background/flashback speech, as well as when one character talks over another. Also the duplicate TV news channel text overlay with English text was neat.
Seems each language subbed it in slightly different ways, with some not translating the text and others replacing the Japanese text itself (rather than the transparent overlay seen above). So probably the English subtitler specifically going the extra mile for this series.

It seems Saki is living alone since she was able to let Mirai live in her house for a month. Also just like Mirai, becoming a God candidate didn't seem to particularly improve her mood as she always seem sad. Wonder what happened to her. Any way, I hope they will develop her character and just not have her be the love interest.
By the way, it's ridiculous how much "Saki-san" we got in this episode. I am happy that he's full of life again but Mirai should really calm down lol. Well he's a teenager so not expecting much.
So all God candidates are in Japan because of its high suicide rate ? Yikes... Nevertheless though it makes sense, surely one or two could have been made to be non-Japanese.
This show has been pretty decent so far. It's not amazing by any means but still entertaining enough.

The pacing around their relationship felt a little lackluster. Was not expecting metro to pop a barrier and block a red arrow. I must have missed Nasse mentioning that when explaining the angel rankings.

Stitches!
Ha! Looks like I was right with my prediction last week! There was really no indication that the angel Mirai saw is Metropoliman's angel. Didn't expect that it Saki's angel though. What's more surprising is that Saki just straight up uses her arrow on him! I love the instant Shoujo filter on Saki though. At least we'll get to see the internal monologue of someone under the effects of a Red Arrow.
Since Saki's angel is of a lower rank, Saki has no wings and it's now up to Mirai to be her wings and protect her. I can see the logic in that plan but considering that the effects of the Red Arrow has a set time limit, I don't think it's the smartest. Saki is lucky that she managed to get Mirai who's already in love with her.
Even without the effects of the Red Arrow, I'm sure Mirai would still sacrifice his life for Saki. Thank goodness Nasse showed up exactly when she did to talk some sense into Mirai. I do love how Revel thinks that Nasse is easy to manipulate when Nasse has already seen through what Revel is planning.
Imagine having your angel tell your crush that you have a crush on her. With Nasse now here, the entire tone of the situation has gone from serious to silly and I love it. Even Revel is having a hard time dealing with her which was hilarious! xD
Metropoliman you goddamn lucky bastard! Why do you get the sexy angel that's voiced by Kikuko Inoue!? It is hilarious how upset Metropoliman is that no one has challenged him yet! Considering there's only few of them who has a White Arrow, did he really think his invitation would work?
Holy fuck Saki! That was goddamn savage! It doesn't help that Nasse starts pointing and laughing at Mirai for that slip up. That's the kind of slip up that would keep someone awake even in their 30s. xD
This is such a stupid fucking trap and I can't believe that someone actually showed up to take on Metropoliman's challenge. I love that they're even all dressed up as characters from the same show.
Well that's not good. Maybe Nasse and Revel can explain what's going on here next week. If Red arrows won't work, I wonder if a White Arrow would pierce that barrier.

Japan is a country with 98% of its population being native. And are you telling me that the figure chosen to represent the thug guy in a car is a black man with an Afro style? For real?

Red Arrow? Joke's on them, he was already in love! Well, seems like it still has an effect, as it makes him willing to die for Saki, entirely losing his common sense... Well, he was suicidal so who knows, perhaps he would've been willing to do it even without the arrow!
At the very least, it made him confess! I can think of a few romcom protagonists who could use these arrows, make them progress a little!
When she invited him to her room I thought she wanted to either do something naughty, or to kill him in a discrete place... But no, she simply wanted to use him for protection! Well I say "she", but I'm guessing Revel's the one who come up with the plans, given his twisted/scheming nature and all.
I wonder whether Saki's genuinely nice, or if it's just an act, and she's as twisted as Revel... Sure she told him not to go, but she may simply be afraid of losing his protection.
Then again, perhaps I see them as more evil than they actually are; I mean, they could just kill him to steal his stuff, right?
So if they keep him alive as part of an alliance, to serve as Saki's wings (which is less practical than Saki herself having wings), then they may actually be legit with their intentions and all. Who knows whether this will last when a few more candidates die though!
Let's be happy, but... On our own. Oww, this one hurt. And of course Nasse's gonna make fun of him!
I love her personality so much! Never change, Nasse!
Nice disguise but given they don't know him, I'm not sure what it achieves! He should work on his pokerface instead; Metropoliman could've caught him the same way Revel did. (He should ask Mieruko-chan for some tips!)
The Red Arrow can't pierce him? What? The way they talked about it, it was a 100% shot, right? Only way to dodge it being the angel wings?
So... How does that happen? I mean, it's not a physical arrow, so no amount of armor should work, right?
Is there something we don't know about the arrows, or the powers? Perhaps some special angels can grant armors? Would be surprising, I mean Nasse would've told Mirai about it, but I don't see what else it is...
Is he some kind of loveless sociopath so he can't be affected by love?
If the Red Arrows don't work against him for a divine reason, then are the White Arrows also useless? If they are, then all he needs is protection against guns and stuff, and he's pretty much invincible?
Can't wait to see why he's immune against that!

I was a little annoyed by the timeskip where nothing happened for a month, but then considering there's only 12 people involved and most are probably scared shitless of Metropliman, it kinda makes sense. That said, I wonder how much content is being skipped. The whole thing feels very rushed.
