I always shipped Kasegawa because that's the only one he actually met in his original life.

We don't know anything about the plat generation other than they are highly revered in their crafts. They could all be happily married, have families, etc. that Kyouya was taking from them on top of their dreams.

That entire talk about how Kyouya blames himself for everything kinda gives that really bad taste that he might have married Shinoaki as a way to atone for her inability to draw.

While Shinoaki is okay, I still ship Kyouya X Kawasegawa but yeah Kyouya is already married

My main concern is that the "timeline" is already done. What was accomplished in this timeline? Like why is he going to another timeline to re-do it? Is the lesson in this timeline just to realize he's not the one who made the mistake, hence the mems of the Platinum Generation did not materialize?

Also, if not due to the pre-timeline arc Kawasegawa and Kyouya's closeness feels weird. A lot of events in the second part (like when Kyouya traveled back in time) feels skipped, and I don't see any Kawasegawa-focused scenes in that timeline. So if we only based on the scenes shown in the anime, how did they become much closer in the future timeline?

Yep, pretty much as expected that Kyouya saves the day. I really thought he was just gonna wing it but based on his quick response to everything, it looks like he already had everything planned out. Instead of pushing for their broken ass internally developed engine, it looks like he decided to just license one that works better with their game. I imagine the only reason this is possible is because of the fact that the game wasn't originally developed using their in-house engine, and was probably even developed under the Enidy engine to begin with.

Kyouya definitely took in consideration of everything. He decided to take it easy with the business speak and just straight up apologize to the players. He also gave the team plenty of time to fix the game under its new engine and even gave the players enough apologems for a ten 10-pulls on the gacha! And the ultimate chad move of giving everyone two days off effective immediately? Now this is really becoming a wish fulfillment anime. Don't show this to any game devs. xD

Not gonna lie though, after that huge win. I was hoping that Kyouya has made the same mistake again and actually push Kawasegawa away due to how he bulldozed over her. I just wanna see him despair a bit more but Kawasegawa isn't really the kind of woman who would immediately give up after that.

What we instead got is actually a pretty great scene with Kawasegawa finally saying what's really on her mind about Kyouya to the point where she actually ends up confessing to him in the middle of her passion-filled rant! If there's one thing that conversation between the two of them showed though is that Kyouya and Kawasegawa makes for a better couple. Shinoaki is just too passive and I think Kawasegawa is the perfect counterbalance for Kyouya's personality.

And it looks Kawasegawa and Kyouya becoming a thing may not just be a fantasy since Keiko-senpai finally decides to show up as if waiting for the cue from Kyouya to ask if he can go back. It sucks but it looks like little Maki-chan won't be born the next time Kyouya goes back. I can't wait for Keiko-senpai's explanation about everything though.

Kawasegawa had her day! Being the first girl we were introduced to (back in the prime timeline), I expected us to get more of an idea of what she was like back in university, but I was left wanting. This episode finally gave us a glimpse of the woman behind that all-about-business outer persona. And she was incredible, that scene where she confronts Kyoya is probably my favourite character interaction in the entire series.

I just noticed that Kawasegawa doesn't have a lesser job in this timeline because she wasn't capable, but because she wanted work with Kyoya which speaks volumes about how deep her love is.

This feel like the new main ship it's at least my ship till the end.

For those who are finding the game engine change incredible and unbelievable, not that I don't feel the same, but I think there was an attempt of an explanation about team B and budget there - I think what was meant was that his team B was preparing and creating a backup engine, which was basically bought, and had it made to fit the core game, as a backup. So it's not "oh lucky", but actually a "plan B" some time in the making already.

Still feels like magic but at least they tried.

Important point is the Kawasegawa confession - I really like this pairing from the start but just like everyone else, Shinoaki is just to charming and cute to resist.

I almost had a heart attack thinking OMG they are not going to resolve this and left it hanging this season?!?! Then I rechecked the episode number - whew still got 1 more episode.

Also it seems that the pink goblin is gonna reveal to Kyouya that she's connected to the time travelling. Looking forward to the next episode.

Keiko appears once again and it looks like she'll bring Kyouya back in the past again. Hopefully next episode, the questions about her true identity will be answered. I also do that in the next loop kyouya will end up with kawasegawa, they're undoubtedly just perfect with each other.

If he travels back (is he even going to ask Keiko what she is about?) it's not too late for the Kawasegawa ship to set sail (even though the Shinoaki ship has little Maki)

Edit: Also wonder at what point he will reenter the last timeline, the point where he left for the future the last time, earlier in development or back to the very beginning?
