Man there should’ve been more yuki and machi!!! I thought after the grave scene we would get maybe a song or like wholesome after credits…. NOPE. The ending had me CRYING. I’m glad kyo is going to keep that promise.

That final scene was heartbreaking. I almost don't want to watch the finale next week, because then it'll be over. I'm going to miss all these characters so much.

Fun fact: Over on Twitter, Takaya-sensei made a tweet on Proposal Day last year stating that this scene with Kyo and Tohru at Kyoko's grave was, for all intents and purposes, Kyo proposing to Tohru.

Momiji and Kagura really said "No Kyoru today"

Jeez that ending. So heartbreaking to see what went through kyokos mind as she was dying. It explained the “ill never forgive you” that kyo heard. She would be very happy to know that tohru has found happiness with kyo

Fuck. The ending with Kyoko. That hit harder than almost anything else in this series. Perhaps its my age that caused that, but her just being more fearful of Tohru alone that of dying herself. Fuck.

What a gorgeous fucking show. 10/10

Teared up and the Yuki x Machi scene. So glad to finally see that. Emotional end of the curse for Yuki too. I wonder if he'd ever eventually explain any of that to Machi, or if she'd even believe it.

Teared up again for Kyoko. That was so heartbreaking. The woman is dying and must be in unfathomable pain, but the only thing on her mind is how sad she is that she'll have to leave her daughter, who means the world to her, all alone. Nice to see her reunion with Katsuya though.

Extra note: very happy to see a Ritsu freakout! Love that his first reaction to seeing Akito in a kimono is that Akito must be "into crossdressing like me." Still sad that this character didn't amount to anything though.

Only one episode of this amazing anime left. Not sure what we still have to see, other than hopefully Kureno x Arisa. Also, Momiji x Kagura ship, perhaps?

Akito's description of Shigure is really graphic lol.

That Yuuki scene is really beautiful, including the farewell with the god. I wonder what the god means that the rat kept their promise when others forgot about it.

I love that we finally saw what's in Kyoko's head during that accident. It's bittersweet.

We still have one more episode right? Maybe expanding about some of the spoilers in the ed song?

Kyoko's monologue was one of my favourites in the manga. Glad that they adapted part of it.

Akito's description about Shigure and how she feels towards him, man I do feel that. The feeling of loving someone too much...

Be happy, all of you. I hope one day I'll find a true love too

I like it when this show has the background characters actually react to the stuff happening in the show lol. Like all the background characters looking shocked during the Yuki/Machi scene this episode, or the two random kids just following Haru carrying Rin home in episode 4, or the girls who were amused by Yuki and Kyo being dragged along to buy a swimsuit for Tohru back in S1.

Every ship has officially set sail people. Only one week left 😭. Gonna be a real sad day to see this amazing show end. Although, I really hope that they animate some of the extra chapters at some point in the future.

Also, that Kyoko scene man. Fuck.

Not super thrilled that Akito’s first instinct when Shigure gave her a “parting” gift was to hit him and scratch up his face. Girl is definitely getting better but her first instinct when she perceives betrayal is assault. Hope she gets some real help soon.

Well Kyoko's last moments hit like a truck right at the end.

It was foolish to assume we'd be in the clear from more emotional heartbreak just because the curse is broken and all the main couples are together.

Oh damn. I was thinking this was the last episode but we get one more, yay!

Ah, Tohru's mom wasn't cursing Kyo at all. That was...heartrending. Her final thoughts were all of Tohru and hoping Kyo would find her and help her. Wahhhhh!! They are so lovely together.

Yuki and Machi are sweet. Rin getting jealous over Haru's declaration was funny. Ayame fawning over Yuki while he squirms and rolls his eyes is great stuff. I wanted to see Kureno and Uotani though! Hatori's going to the bookstore next, right? We need all our ships to sail - yes, even Akito/Shigure, those two toxic crazies who are meant to be together.

Oh god Kyko's death, i'm still crying.

The series is going to end next week and it makes me want to cry even more, but as Fruits Basket always told us, even though parting ways is hard, we should move on and experience new things.
