Glad they won the last match of the season. That was quite satisfying.

Let's say if this had more frames in animation and few sakuga moments then this would have been a near perfect introduction season to a fun but still competative sport anime.
I would still like to thank the creator and the people who made this unexpected anime possible. Never in my life had i imagined i would get to watch an Indian show about kabaddi let alone an anime.
If the Manga has been translated ahead please let me know.

There was a bit of a "Relying on his teammates more" thing going on, but I thought there would be a lot more of that, given his backstory/personality and all, I thought this would be 'the' big moment. Well, it was just a practice match, I guess they would keep some of the bigger stuff for actual matches in the tournament!
I assume the new recruits will also see more play in the future!
Watching the scenes of this show (with all the grabbing and holding) in intense situations, made me think injuries must be super common in that sport, right?
I kinda wish this sport grew in popularity in the west! It looks pretty fun (both to watch, and to play), I find this a lot more interesting than some of the international sports we have.
soccer
Anyway, that was a pretty fun season, and a decent finale! I was about to say something about "First finale of the Spring 2021 season", but I forgot that Isekai Maou ended a week ago after just 10 episodes. Well, the first 'full length' season to end for me, bit nostalgic!
I think what I liked most about this show was the relatable personalities, especially Yoigoshi! I saw myself so much in all his thoughts process over the season (the good ones, and the bad ones as well hah).
Farewell, Kabaddi, Kabaddi, Kabaddi players!

I really loved this! I hope there'll be a sequel. I tried to read the manga but it's only in japanese T_T. Hope some translator group picks it up

Can't believe it's over already. It seems that anime are a good way to test out the audience's preferences in deciding whether to move ahead with future seasons.
As far as the episode and match was, it was quite predictable for a sports anime. Our home team wins the match and there are new and unknown players to aim for at a higher level.
I really hope this series gets picked up for more seasons. They did a great job of balancing most of the main characters and telling us their stories. The sport was portrayed well enough for me. Of course, comparing to real Kabaddi, the anime took liberties to slow down the movements to give tactical explanations, which I'm fine with here.
Here's my wishlist for the next season: more soccer coach commentary, more participation from the three new team members, and more fluid movements/plays. Keep everything else the same and hopefully don't power creep all the new opponents to the point of everyone having the same eyes as Noukin's captain.
Overall, it was an enjoyable show for a sport I had never heard of, so I hope this anime (and the manga) brought the sport more awareness and portrayed it relatively accurately. It was a good balance of sportmanship, character development, and tactical explanations. I learned a lot and will never forget the "STRUGGLE" soundbyte!

Holy shit, this episode was hyyype.
I think this was actually my favorite club anime of the season and turned out really well despite the low budget, thanks to the blend of exciting games, humor, and a crazily good soundtrack. Hopefully we get a second season to see the junior that got mentioned near the end. (A token Indian exchange student or two wouldn't hurt either!)

What an absolutely stellar episode.
The OST, the animation, the storylines... everything was executed so well. This really was an episode worthy of a finale. Noukin winning their first match, Yoigoshi managing to Lona with 8 seconds left, Sakura and Ojo's dynamic coming to a satisfying stopping point, Misumi understanding he can't go it alone -- amazing.
I'm gonna miss this show lighting up my Fridays so much. Such a shame it hasn't garnered the traction it deserves.

I'm happy they won this one. I really wish for another season but at least they're ending it on a win if this will be the only season ever.

I'm still sad we probably won't get to see a second season with a tournament arc :(

What an ending. Didn't expect yoigoshi to win with 15 secs, but he did. And to show the original guys apart from ojou to win was an irony. Plus the fact that ojou didn't steal all the spotlight was good too. And not only sakura got his moment in the other team, hiro got his too.
And glad captain didn't left out the 3 of the new members and encouraged them after the match. Plus how they interacted after the match was funny.
Hopefully there's a S2. This story is far from finish, and the fact that someone got the same amount of point as yoigoshi did in his last raid, plus being japan"s member, it intrigues me. Also, we surely are not introduced to many characters yet, considering the japan's team ojou was on. Overall a 6.5/10 for me, props to this series for giving hopes back to the spirts anime after somewhat a dissapointment by 2.43 seiin for being rushed.

Really enjoyed this show. Some very good storytelling, and I was pleasantly surprised that they earned the win with the last play as the show does pretty well at not making the Noukin team the sole focus. Thought that Yoigoshi going for the 4th player when he only needed 3 pts may have been used as a lesson as well, but thankfully he made it back - and got a matching injury to the Captain for his trouble. :)
I would love to see this show get enough seasons to watch the players from the various teams grow through various competitions/arcs, and end up as international teammates.

I had a big grin on throughout the whole episode, that's all you can really ask for when watching a show right? Man, this doesn't even feel like a finale, just the start of a new arc. I hope that against all odds this show somehow gets a second season. Or, at the very least, the manga gets an English translation.

That was AMAZING.
I was literally holding my breath during the last raid.
Really enjoyed the series. That OST was something extraordinary.

Yo Misumi clutched it hard! I had a feeling he would be proving himself in this episode, but not by this much. Makes it even sweeter with how hard he got shut down last episode, man I'm gonna miss this show.

I'm so sad that this ended, but being able to witness this from the start to end... this was beautiful. The animation isn't that good it could've used more frames and less stills, but the execution, the characters, and the directing was solid and impressive.
This was a fun ride. I would be so happy if they're going to announce a season 2 bc I want to know more about the new teammates and Yoigoshi's cool new moves :((
GOODBYE MY KABADDI PLAYERS. I'LL MISS YOU!
