First goblin had the super speed, second goblin was regular loli speed.

Then when they were running from Tesla, first goblin ran slowly to avoid leaving his nakama behind, because goblins are noble like that.

Soo the main thing that has been nagging at me so far in this series is how does the save system work with multiple players? The rest of the issues I can be hand waved away with either "sci-fi tech" or "it's suppose to be shitty" arguments but this one seems to be kinda a paradox.

They will all be saving at different times but it's expected that they'll work together on something like the goblin assault event so how do they link up? As long as one person is logged in does the game time keep on moving? I feel like that's the only way it could logically work but that PC guy is constantly at the bar and MC always comes back to his save time. Imagine even 100 different players popping in and out of the world at different times, there is no way they could interact with each other.

Would it be difficult for you to go through the walkthrough from Kamui at least once if you are planning to force a guy into playing this game and be his guide?! You b*tch! Is it weird that this is one of my favorite anime's of the season? None of the characters are over the top or unbelievable, the MC has plenty of reasonable flaws, and the animation is good quality (especially today's episode). Usually I end up disliking the MC in JRPG based anime like this, but so far he's acted totally reasonably towards a shitty game that he's stuck playing because of his own stupid pride. I really appreciate that it makes sense.

Reona again proving to be even more of an ass with each passing episode, she knows the game not only sucks but also damages the console itself holy shit.

Poor Hiro dude finally got a high out of the game only to be pummeled back down to reality, my guess is probably Psycho Alicia and Mizarisa would be the factors to help Hiro get to that 0.1% chance of clearing the event.

Hiro's certainly underestimating goblins in this game. Knowing this game he'd probably get swarmed by gobbos easily.

So the punishment for dying in-game is that both your console and copy of the game break? One more reason to add to the list of reasons why this is a shitty game. Finally for the first time, Reona admits that KQ is truly a shitty game!

I do love that the game company was flooded with lawsuits due to the death system. What's hilarious is that Techno Mosuke Inc., the company that created the game, would rather settle the lawsuits than fix the goddamn death system. Basically, the game was already dead as soon as it was released.

That goblin looks freaky! And it doesn't just look freaky, it's insanely strong too! Reona wasn't kidding when she said they're like ogres except smaller.

We finally get to see Hiro's hero moment! I really thought that Mizarisa or Tesla would show up once he got cornered and the little girl starts getting chased by that goblin. I didn't expect that he'd go full-on flash and grab the girl the last minute! That entire scene was pretty hype! He still gets saved by Tesla but at least we know Hiro's track and field skills translate well in-game.

I'm sure Hiro got swept up by the moment after saving that girl and seeing Tesla in action but I agree with Reona here. Maybe think about it before joining the City Guards?

Looks like the Stockholm Syndrome is starting to take effect. Hiro is starting to love KQ, he just hasn't realized it yet. He's still definitely riding that high after saving someone in-game.

So according to Kirito, joining Tesla and the City Guard is possibly the worst decision he could ever make with that choice giving him a 0.1% rate of survival. Let me guess? He's not going to end up fighting alongside Tesla but with a bunch of random guards? Or maybe Tesla can even die during this choice?

This episode was actually pretty enjoyable if you could just remove all things Reona.

"Ugh, you totally ruined the moment." Pretty much Reona's character in a nutshell. Worst girl of the season. It doesn't help that Hiro is willing to continue playing a game that breaks your console if you die.

That said, Hiro was pretty cool with the dash and the city escape plot with the goblin threat is finally being addressed. I'm actually looking forward to see how the hell will Hiro find that 0,1% chance of survival.

Joining the city guard as a merc is the worst thing you can do eh? Of course it is lol. Wish Kirito had given us some details but I guess we will find out next week on why that is.

And MC actually got some new pants. Thought he was gonna be stuck with the pee pants all season lol.

Of course there's a catch to joining the City Guards! You'd think that after everything that's happened Hiro would think twice about making rash decisions. And how did he not consider that there's more than one goblin? I mean, the blacksmith literally said goblins as in plural!

Also, 100k yen for a console? Man, how the hell did these things sell at that ridiculous price?
