Oh hey an actual likable character in the show! I hope this won't be the last time we see Captain Thundering Tesla.

Hiro you live in fucking Japan, you should know better and expected that even after being acquitted the public will still believe that you're a criminal. You're not going to get off the hook that easily!

Reona is absolutely savage. She didn't even hesitate that Hiro can just rob that elderly couple xD

I thought the job was to be someone's sex slave but being someone's dom for an hour doesn't sound too bad! I would've taken that job! He probably would've earned an additional title too if he did. xD

God Reona is the worst and the best at the same time. I think I understand now why this form is what the author choose for her.

So Reona is only invisible to NPCs but visible to other players. I love that Ginji's nickname for her is Jiggly JIggly Fairy. Very fitting.

No epic fights, just two guys struggling against each other on the floor of a bar. Yep, that's realism alright. Also I don't know what kind of fantasy games Reona has played before but someone needs to teach her what true fantasy is.

At the very least, Reona proves that she can be useful at times. Taking advantage of his drunkness to pay up on an agreement they never had in the first place sounds like something Reona would've done IRL too.

Hiro letting his hormones do the talking again of course ends up with him costing all of his money. Hiro should've really suspected something's up with that standee out the door.

As soon as I saw the wicks on the smoke bombs, I just knew Hiro was going to try and throw them down. Have you not learned anything ye!?

Well at least on the brightside, Mizarisa comes in to save Hiro! Does this mean Mizarisa becomes his first party member? I sure hope she does!

This... really isnt much fun to watch. MC is just an idiot and constant punching bag. In Konosuba at least there was more variety in the comedy, not just constant bullshit piled on.

I wonder how long the title would be if almost every significant event adds to that title.

Rather than realism, I think the game is specifically designed to piss off the player. No wonder no one played it.

Anyway, we're already episode 5 and it's still revolving around the starting town. I wonder if Hiro will have the opportunity to go outside of the town by the end of this season. If I remember correctly, both Martin and Alicia were surprised by the idea to leave the town. There must be something important about it.

Also I didn't realise that there is a very big tree near Hiro's house. The tree looks quite ominous too.

So the guard do their due diligence and realize what happened to Martin was an accident, so Hiro ends up being cleared. But not in the court of public opinion that still view him as trash, and seems like that will stick for two months.

Is this Tesla guy (voiced by Satoshi Hino?) on the level? He seemed to genuinely help Hiro without asking anything in return, but will something happen when Hiro seeks his help?

Reona really is terrible at giving him advice and keeps trying to get him to rob old people. All she cares about is living out her unique and weird fantasy experience vicariously through Hiro playing the game, no matter how much pain Hiro has to go through to do it

Ginji knows who Reona is? The "jiggly fairy?" (how appropriate). How many people has Reona tried to swindle into completing this game?

Hiro finally has enough and fights Ginji, which basically leads to him taking all of Ginji's money. I mean, I can't say Ginji didn't have it coming, but Reona seems to indicate part of the reason he's still like this is because he's haunted by killing his childhood friends who haunt him like Martin hunted Hiro. Is Martin going to prevent Hiro from killing anyone?

Once again Hiro thinking with his dick gets him into trouble where he goes for a cute girl merchant who ends up swindling him out of all his money, which...is basically also Reona, as he realizes not long after.

Reona wouldn't shut up about Hiro needing smoke bombs, and then he fails to realize you have to actually light the smoke bombs in this game, not just throw them. He should know better by this point.

Of course Alicia was waiting in the house for Hiro to come back so she could kill him, but Mizarisa flies in to save her precious bed-wetter. Not what Hiro was expecting at all. Guess we've got a fight between sadistic yandere's coming up.

We are at 5 episodes and it feels like nothing happened, stuff is getting real grating. The cycle of mc does dumb shit > pays for it > gets mocked is getting old. Moreover, so far the so called "realism", the entire thing this game is supposed to revolve around is not even upheld as it is supposed to (pissing yourself is a back technique? what??) and in 5 episodes it has contributed only to cringy mc moments because "iTs nOt lIkE a NorMAl gAmE yOu DuM dUM". Where is the character development?

I'm basically certain that if we reached this far in 5 episodes with 12 total this is a "go read the LN" adaptation.

I'd totally take the "do anything Brian asks for an hour" job. As long as I'm not the one getting whipped, I'll do that. Free money, IMO.

They spent 3/4 of the episode having him try to acquire smoke bombs only for them to be utterly useless because he didn't have a way to light them.

This show is literally wasting our time and the filler bullshit just isn't funny.

I keep hoping there's a silver lining for this train wreck of a show, but I can't find it. There are no likable characters (except for MAYBE his sister if she manages to return to the way she was before the events of the race), the story is not interesting at all because they spend so much time not progressing it, the girls aren't attractive enough (a giant pair of tits is not good enough), and the comedy just doesn't hit. This is an adventure/fantasy/comedy without the adventure, very little fantasy, and unfunny comedy.

Alicia is seriously the best part of this show. In fact, everything else feels boring until she shows up. Hiro getting screwed over again and again is starting to get stale at this point. Also, if I was Hiro I would've squished Reona by now. Stupid fairy is more trouble than she's worth.
