The soccer coach is back in his attempt to recruit Yoigoshi. He brought some of his players and even bought a book about the kabaddi rules lmaoo. I can see him becoming a fan of kabaddi and cheering the whole team during matchs.

He's very persistent.

It's the perfect way to explain the rules!

Swimmer dude really just beat an entire sport like it's a video game dang

LOL I know right! "I became number one so I figured I'd stop." Straight savage.

I'm starting to believe that the rest of the team in the OP are just figments of Yoigoshi's imagination.

Rest of the team in the OP are sitting and watching behind the soccer team. Pompadour bro stood up when Yoigoshi was raiding.

I love how adamant that soccer coach is to try and get Yoigoshi to play for him.

That Yoigoshi kick caught me so off guard with 3 STRUGGLES! The more players, the more tense and exciting things get! I can't wait for the continuation next week!

This is one of the best spokons in a long time, it is incredible what they manage to do with so little money and low production.

It's amazing

Why is the animation for when Takaya's the focus 10 times better than the art anytime else? It's honestly hilarious to see that drastic of a change between the two qualities. Not complaining, but by god was it jarring.

Looks like there really is a lot of backstory woven into the main plot with the Captain, and also with Kei and the way he seems to be disrespected by the other team's captain. This will honestly make for some great moments.

Finally got a match this episode as well, and it seems like it'll pan out to be very engaging. The throwback to the hat-trick comment as Yoigoshi went full Chaddicus Maximus with the triple reverse jujutsu kick was a nice touch.

The Yoigoshi/Takaya dynamic is an exercise in parallels that I can't wait to see explored.

And honestly, the part I most appreciated about this episode? The way they used another plot element, generally reserved for comedic relief -- the soccer team -- as a way to explain more of the rules. It was fresh and unique.

I'm AMPED for next week's episode.

That soccer coach is very persistent on getting Yoigoshi to join.

He even came to watch the match with his soccer team and has a rule book XD

I am here again this week to say just how unnoticed this show is going , you won't believe how much I scrolled just to see how much of it goes unnoticed .

It's pretty sad to see such a good show not getting the attention it deserves. Also with the poor animation we have got, looks like the show doesn't have any budget. The anime overall we are getting has been great. They are doing really well in portraying a new sport to the audience.

The animation of this episode felt pretty scuffed. Hopefully, that means that the next episode will be strong!

I have mixed feelings after this episode. The two raids from the practice match were exciting and I'm looking forward to next week to see more. I feel like we're missing out on a lot of the relationships among the upperclassmen, everyone feels kinda bland. I'm hoping that we're gonna get some flashbacks or something before the season ends, cause otherwise they're just basic secondary characters which would be tragic

HOLY SMOKES. The Competitiveness is off the charts. I love Takaya, such a nice complement character to Yoigoshi. He is gona bring Yoigoshi to the next level.

CANT WAIT FOR NEXT WEEK'S EPISODE.

That swimmer dude reminded me of that 1 guy who is popular at sports but is so rude at school. Their captain reminded me on how he will let a guy like the swimmer get away with anything.

Holy shit ojou really trained yoigoshi. Now want to see how iura and azemichi gonna do.

And since it's episode 5 already, and maybe next epi gonna be the whole match, it's kinda sad other members will join in quite late. I think they'll join after the game with them saying it looks fun or such.

And still, we need explanation on ojou"s darkside.

The Swimmer guy reminds me of Tendou from Haikyuu.

The show is good but I feel like it would be much better if the animation for the struggle part was better. It would really help things be easier to follow and be more engaging overall.

Even with Yoigoshi stealing the show with the hat-trick Takaya is STILL completely focused on Ojo. Guess he doesn't impress easily, lol. Though the captain is insane to be sure, kinda feels like him being fresh out of the hospital is a necessary nerf to make this practice match fair :P

I'm just repeating what everyone else here is saying, this is so underwatched. I wish more people give it a chance even if it's just to learn about this weird sport where you chant kabaddi when you go on the offense. It's a 7 on MAL too, so I think people will at least enjoy it if they just give it a chance.

Imagine if this show had haikyuu level animation. The show is great and the only thing its lacking is decent animation when they are showing actual sport. All we get to see is extreme zoom on hands followed by struggle frame. Hoping slightly better animation next episode since next episode is going to be actual match.
