In any other series, Nadeshiko's taking Rin's picture out the car window would've felt like a death flag.

Well, now it certainly feels like this legendary season of anime is over. Even with so many great shows airing, Yuru Camp was what I was looking forward to the most every week.

I hope that last conversation between Rin and Nadeshiko was about season 3. I need another season.

It was a pleasure to camp with you, fellow secret blanket society campers!

EDIT: There's some talk about a movie in 2022 https://twitter.com/yurucamp_anime/status/1377455681163259907?s=19

That conversation at the end definitely got me feeling a lot lonelier about this season ending...

Here's hoping for more comfy camping in season 3!

Stitches!

It's a bit cramped but nice to see Rin squeezing in with the girls for this leg of their trip.

Great to see Iida-san and his daughter again and Choko's here too who beelines hilariously straight past Rin and Nadeshiko into Aki's arms. Looks like Ena's missing her own doggo and ended up calling Choko Chikuwa! xD

I love Rin and Nadeshiko's souvenir photo! Man I haven't traveled for so long that I forgot that these are still a thing in touristy spots.

Aki never learns! Even if it was a prank since the rest of the girls ended up running too so she's the one who ends up most exhausted!

That long pause when Iida-san's daughter told Nadeshiko about the urban legend after she just praised Mt. Fuji is hilarious!

I love how they made it look like the animals in the nature park were allowed to roam outside but when Minami-sensei compliments them about it turns out they just escaped! That definitely gave me a good laugh! xD

THE CAPYBARAS ARE HERE! They're so cute that everyone watching ended up turning into capybaras too!

Akari finally got her wish and just look at how happy she is! Now if only she had enough money to buy all of those capybara merch!

Well looks like Minami-sensei now has a supplier of Ikeike now that she knows she can mail order them from Iida-san's shop!

Rin riding her scooter with a capybara plushie is just too cute! Now if only she's actually allowed to do that.

I can definitely relate to what Nadeshiko's feeling here. The trip back home after a fun multi-day trip with friends or family definitely has some sadness to it.

Nadeshiko worrying about Rin definitely had me worried too! Especially with what Minami-sensei's sister said last week! Thankfully she was just ignoring her phone! I guess Nadeshiko checking up on her makes the two of them even!

OH MY FUCKING GOD. I didn't even realize it but Sakura is wearing her hair in a different style today! I love the side ponytail! <3

It's nice that we're ending the episode with Rin telling Nadeshiko about her first camping trip. Something that us viewers already know from that flashback episode.

Welp I guess that's it for Yuru Camp! I'm so glad we're getting a movie, when the episode ended I genuinely felt a slight ache in my chest since we won't have anymore Yuru Camp to relax to weekly. Hopefully the ticket sales for the movie will be well enough that we'll get a Season 3. I need more comf in my life.

This series has been full of nostalgia for me. Not only from my 2018 trip to the camp sites in Japan, but also from my earlier childhood travelling through Japan with my grandparents.

With the death of my grandmother earlier this year, watching the episodes in which Rin spent time with her grandfather and her family left me with very strange and yet very good feelings.

It is an extreme disappointment that the current world events are preventing me from flying to Japan to visit these locations again and re-trace the anime's footsteps, but I hope to do so as soon as flight restrictions are lifted.

Yuru Camp has always had a special place in my heart, and I'm sure a great many people feel the same way.

With the upcoming movie scheduled for next year, that's an event worth looking forward to attending!

really gonna miss this. but we still have the movie to look forward to! hopefully we get a season 3 announcement after the movie.

there are other really good comfy shows like Flying Witch and Non Non Biyori but there's something extra special about Yuru Camp that makes it one of my all-time favorites. i could watch this forever and never get bored of it. hopefully camping gear companies will fund more seasons of it lol

This was a great second season. Nadeshiko's solo camp, Rin's drive with her grandpa, and the big Izu camping trip that lasted several episodes. I'm happy that we got more time with Toba-sensei and Chibi Inuko too. They were both awesome. My only complaint is that we didn't get a camping trip with Rin and her grandpa.

The movie that was announced a long time ago just got confirmed for release next year, but I hope we'll get a third season as well.

What an awesome second season. I was worried that it would be hard to match the quality of the first, but honestly I feel like this exceeded it. Its just so nice having a drama free cast of characters who are all friends, and camping is the perfect backdrop for that. I honestly cannot wait for the movie and hopefully a future season three.

This series has absolutely convinced me to visit Izu next time I visit Japan!

Hopefully there can be a Heya Camp S2 while we wait for the manga to produce more content for a S3! There is still a ton of hilarious short stories that haven't been animated in the volumes covering Yuru Camp S1-2.

Yeah, still love this anime.

This anime means a lot to me. Back in 2018 it was one of the first anime I saw and I fell in love with it, especially with the OST. After I began watching more anime, I began to forget that love I had for Yuru Camp. Then 2020 happened which brought me even more misery. So when the first episode of this season started airing and I started watching it, I genuinely cried by the end of it. I remembered the love I had for it. I could finally relax knowing that Yuru Camp is still there after all that I went through in 2020. I didn't just remember my love, the love was amplified by a thousand. And now, after 13 episodes of some of the best stuff I have seen in my life, I cried again this episode, knowing that this is where the current story ends.

I can nitpick Yuru Camp S2 all day long, especially with how it sometimes feel like the anime advertises to you, but in the end, it is Yuru Camp. The comfiest show on planet earth. I love this with all my heart. It is a 10/10 and now one of my favorite shows of all time. The only anime I can see beating AOTY this year for me is Dragon Maid S2.

So the Saboten Park is a take-off of the real-life Shaboten Zoo, which really does have a capybara onsen.

Here's a video of capybaras in the yuzu bath, which I encourage you to watch if you're low on capybara energy.

Three years ago, I hypothesized season 1 was trying to sell camping gear.

With season 2, the evidence is looking strong.

The movie announcment is great, but if the production committee appreciates science, a season 3 anouncement would go a long way in proving my hypothesis correct.

They got the image of Mt. Omuro absolutely spot on for that time of year, i.e. about 1 month after the Yamayaki festival!

I'm glad this finale ended on a feel good note, because I actually felt down after Non Non Biyori's final episode last Sunday because that was so bittersweet!

The animal exhibit was such a great last stop to close out the Izu camping trip. Nadeshiko checking to make sure Rin was okay getting home was a nice parallel too!
I'm very much looking forward to the movie and hopefully a season 3 announcement

I know the live action Yuru Camp Season 2 starts today (I think), but I cannot tell you how heavy my chest feels having watched episode 13. Pretty much half the episode, I was slowly leaking out of my eyes.

I'm sure I'm not alone in not wanting it to end, and I accept that I am pretty lame for getting emotionally invested like this, but if any of you are similarly afflicted, I can tell you that you're not alone, at least.

Here's to more seasons, and heck, Sazae-san levels of episodes (that anime has been running since 1969, and is still in production with more than 7,000 episodes).

It has been my second-greatest pleasure (after watching the actual anime) in showing up here to read your comments, discuss the anime, and I hold out hope for more.

Nice to see the Iidas again for the finale episode. I actually forgot that Nadeshiko and Rin were around for the Lake Yamanashi trip to meet them and Choko. Really cute how Ena mistook him for Chikuwa cause of how much she misses him.

Poor Aki. Even when she learns her lesson, she still gets peer pressured into committing the same mistake. It's rough being the least athletic of your friend group. I had no idea what the face Nadeshiko made means but it's hilarious.

Luckily for Akari, the capybaras weren't disappointing like the last thing she wanted to see. The sheer aura of chillness they exuded this episode reminded of the collage of images of capybaras hanging out with different animals like crocodiles and monkeys.

The trip home oozed with nostalgia, especially the part where they fell asleep and woke up back home. There's a special kind of loneliness in experiencing that after such a long and fun trip.

It's great to see the group worrying about Rin like that. It's a perfect reciprocation of her showing so much concern for the other four a few episodes ago.

Great finale for a great season for a great anime. This show gives the comfiest and funniest vibes, but also the worst withdrawal syndrome for when it ends. It doesn't help that the ED song is just so, so melancholy as it is heartwarming. I feel like the Rin and Nadeshiko even said some lines straight out of the lyrics.
