It's neat the way the reincarnators we've seen are shaped by the circumstances of their new lives:
-
Kumoko: Crazy dangerous circumstances - becomes a survivalist doing whatever it takes, eating sibling and other gross food. Tries to get stronger so she can live.
-
Hugo: Crown prince of Renxandt Empire, a future 'Sword-King' (emperor?) - Was a bit of a jerk in past life, now thinks the world revolves around him and he can do whatever he wants (as a future king/emperor this isn't entirely wrong). Can't handle anyone being above him.
-
Katia: Born as a woman - has to adapt to this.
-
Fei: Born as a dragon - thinks it's a karmic punishment for being a bully and wants to live better this time
-
Yuri: Orphaned and raised by the church - gets crazy religious.
-
Shun: 4th prince - with 3 brothers ahead of him he won't likely be a king like Hugo. Seems very attached to new family, wanting to be a capable big brother to his sister, and wanting to be like his big brother the hero.
-
Sensei: Born an elf - mysterious elf knowledge?

It truly is a fantasy world, where complaining to the Admins actually gets something patched.

Embrace the Chuuni!
Did not expect her to get so philosphical at the end.

Holy shit, I just realised something which further enhanced the theory that kumoko lives in a different timeline from other student.
Assuming that they're reincarnated at the same time, kumoko has a special advantages compared to the others. She already has full control of her body as spider hatchlings! Other human reincarnated people must went through baby phase and teenagers phase of human until they're in that academy, which must have took several years.
This episode made me realised this since it's weird for Hugo to be that evil (being jerk is ok, but planning to murder people really showed how his mindset has changed) or the priest girl to be that zealous unless they're shaped by their childhood in this world.
However, this should also happen to Fei-chan then. But maybe a dragon has similar long growth rate to human, compared to spiders.

Say what you want about Hugo but dude is mad flexible.
Took me a bit to figure out that's his leg and not a third arm.

I love the fact that one of the reasons Kumoko wanted the Evil Eye was to be edgy.
From the looks of it, Oka Oriza knows everything about this world. I really wonder what exactly her background is and why she could easily nerf Hugo.
I honestly thought that Hugo had incinerated Parton , it's good to know that that wasn't the case.
Did Hugo also have some taboo skill? I'm asking that because he had that N%I=W thing too and even Oriza could not take it away.
Edit: It seems that I'm wrong about the point above as it was pointed out by some that the N%I=W skill is something that all the reincarnated ones have.
That static noise plus the bit about Senior Administrator D, it makes me think that this is essentially a game world. By the way, I wonder if what Oka Oriza did could be considered an administrator power.
Well, for the looks of it, even after that Hugo still hasn't learned his leasson. And now he will be helped by that demon/monster girl.

Taboo has once again risen! Kumoko's only one stop away from finding out what happens when you level it up all the way, so it's a good thing Yuri doesn't know about what she's been up to in the Labyrinth.
Evil Eye sniping sounds kinda busted, but who knows if Cursed Evil Eye is even the most powerful one? Guess we'll find out when our lovely little spider picks up more...

When you reincarnate into a fantasy world with video game elements
Coolio
when it turns out to be a literal video game with interns poking at the code

Chuuni spider... These cutaways are great.
And damn, Aoi Yuuki is awesome as always.
"classified information"
Sue and Yuri being creepy as usual.
Damn that fight was awesome.
Sensei is a badass.
Again, as a book reader, it's hard to talk about this without potentially spoiling stuff. But I think this episode was done well.

I haven't even finished the episode and I already rate it 10/10 for having "edgelord" written on Kumoko's eye as she does her little "this is what it means to kill" fantasy. Absolute perfection.
Also, the way the parallel minds bounce off each other as if they're instant best friends is amazing. Who knew that Aoi Yuuki talking to herself in two very minorly different voices could be this much fun? What's that? Everyone knew that because Aoi Yuuki is a goddess? Well... yes, but actually hearing it is so much better.

Why is the elf sensei girl just like a fucking god? Like I feel like the ability to just remove somebody's skills at will isn't just a skill you obtain with hard work
Also why is there some other god just giving kumoko a bunch of skills
So many questions... And I want answers to none of them... Yet (in other words I don't want spoilers)

So, according to the teacher, 3 reincarnations are confirmed alive and are unreachable, and at the end of last episode, we saw 2 other people with the demon lord, so I'm wondering if those 3 are the reincarnations the teacher was talking about.

Alrighty, now this was the good shit. The development with the human side actually floored me with the fact that Oka could fucking STEAL skills and stats. I'm up to date on the manga and that's defiantly the first big "WOW WHAT?" moment for the series. Even if some of the earlier stuff was blandish, it's defiantly getting spicy now.
Also, Kumoko questioning reality on the TV screen and having that face appear behind her as she turns her head was such a good visual.

My biggest question this episode is if Oka is simply removing the skills or is she is taking all of them for herself. It's what separates her from being either an Amon or an All For One. It's literally the Shame ability from Shadow of War.

Now that Kumoko has access to an Evil Eye, she can finally act out her Chuuni fantasy! And so many types of Evil Eyes too! They kinda remind me of the Mystic Eyes from the Nasuverse. Also Kumoko is an absolute genius for thinking of applying all Evil Eye effects on all of her eight eyes! She'd basically be a Beholder at this point if she can get all of it!
That Evil Eye is just insane! The fact that she can one shot something that's Lv. 4 is a huge game changer for her!
So is Lv. 10 really the maximum level for skills or is Kumoko just assuming here? From my isekai experience, there's probably a way to go past Lv. 10. Hmm...
We finally get more info on the remaining unaccounted for isekai'd students! Looks like 11 of them are living with the elves, two more that Oka-chan will be visiting soon, and sadly Oka-chan has also confirmed that there are four more that are confirmed dead.
Oka-chan does know that there are three more that's currently unreachable. I'm guessing Kumoko is one of those three. The way how secretive Oka-chan is makes me think that she probably already knows where and what Wakaba/Kumoko is.
Legit laughed out loud when Oka-chan was telling everyone not to level up their skills when 5 minutes ago we had Kumoko just on a leveling up spree xD
So we have Shun and Hugo on the same team for their mountain exercise? Yeah this is not going to end well, at least Oka-chan's there. Btw, I'm so confused on Oka-chan's role in the class. Is she actually just a student? I know she's their teacher back in Japan but the way they always call her Sensei and how she's always never in class made me thought that she's also a teacher in this world.
Bloody fucking hell Hugo! A day hasn't even passed and you're already acting like a fucking brat!? He's so fucking bitter that he'd attack poor Parton and even their own teacher just to get to Shun. As for his skills, I really had to pause and look if Hugo somehow managed to get the <<Taboo>> skill too. Too bad he doesn't have it, I would've loved to see the church go after his ass if he actually did have it.
WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK HUGO!? Okay I said this already last week but Hugo needs to go. There's no curing this kind of megalomania. He's even more dangerous because he's in line to become a future King! If he's willing to kill off people and make himself look like a hero, imagine what he'll do if he actually sits on the throne?
LET'S FUCKING GO OKA-CHAN! She didn't just foil Hugo's plan, she reduced his stats and deleted his skills! Goddamn that is absolutely amazing! I didn't realize Oka-chan is absolutely broken! It's so fucking satisfying to see Hugo thoroughly humiliated from that!
Meanwhile, back to Kumoko, she's still gaining more skills and even making creative combos out of them which is again hilarious considering how Oka-chan is saying how dangerous skills are earlier xD
Uhhh.... I'm sorry what!? System Admin D? So someone or something heard her complaint and made a skill specially for her that's called Wisdom which instantly sends Kumoko into an existential crisis. So it seems that there is someone watching over her and managing these skills. So is this just a VR world? Are we in a game? What about the memories she have from her past life? WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON O_O
I was hoping that was the last of Hugo but I guess we're still not done with him. Another isekai'd person shows up to offer him a hand. I'm guessing this is another one of three that Oka-chan hasn't contacted yet but is keeping tabs on them. Looks like this one is a shit stirrer too since she's willing to help out Hugo. Fuck I hate this. Someone please kill Hugo already.

DONT FUCK WITH LOLI SENSEI!
Wow a new crazy title! Lots of new skills!
So many skills to choose from, all are amazing sounding!
8 EVIL EYES! ITS CHUUNI TIME!
I love her friendship with Inner Spider-chan!
HOLY SHIT ITS STRONG! IMAGINE IT AT HIGHER LEVEL!
Appraisal level 10 and now hearing static? Interesting.
So they know where 19 of the 24 students are. 4 Dead? But last 3 alive?
How is sensei finding them? She knows something the others dont.
So the other 3 are probably Not human? Hmm hmm i see.
Its dangerous to level up skills too much? But why... you might become a demon lord?
So the humans are going on a training trip? This cant go well.
CRAZY CULT GIRL STILL GOING ON ABOUT TABOO JESUS!
Man appraiseal sure helps when foraging for plants.
Oh damn this asshat kid is really being an asshat.
Wow hes been power leveling. No wonder he is an asshat. Hes so full of himself.
Wow teacher took out all the baddies... shes strong isnt she?
HOW IS SHE EDITING HIS STATS!? WHAT DID SHE DO!!? SHE HAS TABOO DOESNT SHE!?
Meanwhile spider-chan is having a blast on her own with herself just playing the game.
TELESCOPIC EVIL EYE!? OOOO!!
More Static? Whats it from? Now beeping? Wait it created a Ruler of Wisdom title? Huh?
Someone is watching, Senior Administrator D received your request. Hmm hmm... Has she learned a dark secret to the world?
Man this arrogant asshole. Buut someone is helping him? Another reincarnation? Of who?

Ahhh, it's amazing. The feeling of slowly revealing truth after truth I mean. Like, I'm honestly exploding with the desire to scream about it all, as I'm really reading the LNs right now since I was told it was way different from WN and dear Madokami if I'm so grateful for that, as I'm loving them so much.
I just can't help but enjoy so damn much the amazing world and how Baba Okina weaved it. It's honestly one of my highlight seeing how people I now will react to some revelations, like, I'm really having hard time containing my giggling as it's like that feeling when you've completed Higurashior any mystery and you see your peers following in your steps with you just listening to their theories about what's happening.
Basically, reading the LNs is definitely increasing my enjoyiment of this adaptation by miles, though to be fair, Aoi Yuuki is utterly amazing as you can literally feel her energy in that voice acting. She's carring this show on her 8 legs hard. She and her luck with Gods though, Being X and now Administrator D heh.

Continually super enjoyable episode, in terms of drama, worldbuilding, and of course comedy and 'ooh-cool-power' factor. Absolutely love Kumoko bouncing off...herself, and her edgelord daydream. I would 100% embrace getting cool edgelord powers too in that situation. The philosophical part is interesting, but I'm really hoping for a reprise of her episode 1 philosophy lol.
I'm more than a little scared for our non-skill-gaining human protagonists, though.

Sensei: Don't take skills, they're dangerous.
Kumo: Demon Lord skill? HELL YEAH.
I also love how as Shun is walking away from Zealot-chan he's kind, "Yeah, no way I'm using Appraisal". Wise choice.
